- BEST WINDOW SHADES!! SunTex 90 Keeps 90% of Sun out.. SunTex 90 is a unique woven mesh that can block 80-90% of the sun's hot rays before they enter your windows. my parents were having a issue with the sun hitting them in the face while watching tv. So I thought I would help them out and install this SunTex 90. Take a look for yourself!!

Not only is this informative, but I think you get the sweetest Dad award- so cute
Thank u... we have fun doing projects together
It is good to see you include that beautiful daughter of yours. I love to see a parent take care of his/her children and teach them. Oh, nice job btw.
Thank u.. I try to do most my videos with my girls one way or another
Im renting currently and looking for a cheap way to keep heat out of my 90 degree kitchen , the sun rises on that side and man it's sooooo hot ! I love this idea because really I can just unclip whole screen when I move ! And loveeee this with ur beautiful daughter ! Teaching girls to be able to do these kind of things on their own really teaches independence and that's something we definitely need now a days ! Lovee it ❤️
Thank u so much.. and she means everything to me!!
I added suntex 90 to my window that faces the sunset. Before it was always hot, even with blackout curtains, and once I installed the solar screen oh man what a difference it made. My room is a lot darker now but it keeps most of the heat away now. Best $60 I ever spent
I couldn't agree more
It is good to do things as a family these are memories that will last forever
Agreed thank u
Good job ! Right on!
:) are u trying it for urself?
Amazing video
Danielle's Vlogs And Makeup thanks so much for following along
I really need this at my house. The western setting sun is brutal...so hot. I need to get some tools and do this.
Home depot for most of it and online for the screen
We had screens that were removable with this stuff but got new windows. Really miss the screens , especially the privacy.
Robbie, It looks great! We have the same style casa here in Calif and would like to do the same program on our western side. Went to the ‘pot but am not sure where to find that 2” x 2” poly plastic channel with the spline grooves you are using? it’s not in the window screen area...We imagine just aluminium 90 pre clips with 1” ext screws? Also, are the screw bosses integrated in that channel? Give your daughter a gold star.
yes the screw bosses are built in inside the 2x2 tubing. not sure how to tell u where to find them in ur store. but they are in the back of the window area at my store
I'm wondering how dark the house is now viewing it from the inside out. Is it possible for you to do a short video showing the brightness inside the home? I'm thinking of installing this but I would hate to lose my beautiful sunsets. 🥺 Please let me know. Thanks for the great video.
That Is a great idea.. I will do that in a few for sure.. I would say about 50% less view tho just a heads up
I need this in my life
It's Me Aja yeah right! Pretty good stuff. Look into it for real. Thanks for following along
I'm thinking of installing this on my patio door in the back. It's gets the afternoon west side sun. Same for the back bedroom windows also.
Good stuff tho!
Yo these really look like the best shades
Roxas Roxas one of the best. Thanks for following along
nice work
Thank u!
I love it
Thank u!
What section did you find the 2x2 material at Home Depot
Nice
Thank u!
Nice work. I'm curious why you put the bug screens back in the windows. The SunTex should keep bugs out.
Just so we didn't misplace them. Or have to find a place to store them incase we took the sun tex screen down.. that's all :)
i need it now!!! i live in south texas it reaches over 110 degrees on any day of summer.
For sure! Good stuff check ur local home depot.. they should at least know where you can find it..
Ricky, I live in arizona too, let me know if u do it yourself. Bc my window guys charge outrages price.
does it make the room cooler? my room is always a lot hotter than the rest of the house and I wanna use this to try to keep the sun out and still get night breeze
Will stop alot of the heat but it will cut back on the ur breeze tho
what custom product are you using for your exterior window shades? is it Ez Snap? secondly how is the visibility from inside?
It is 2x2 aluminum from Homedepot. Visibility is ok. Not perfect but good
Thanks a lot! @@RobbieGambrell
How much are materials to do this roughly? Looks good.

Robbie Gambrell alright. Check your calendar for availability. 😏
taryn walker checked. Lol :)
you bought this online or in a home depot?
Bought the metal from home depot but the screen online
@@RobbieGambrell What section did you find the 2x2 material at Home Depot
@@reyzor9185 close to roofing and with the screens
@@RobbieGambrell so the product is called EZ Screen and my local Home Depot doesn’t carry it so I would have to order it. Might not be a common item sold in Texas but I will be ordering it soon
I have the shade but none of the other materials
Home depot sells the stuff or if ur in central Florida let me know!
No wonder your daughter is so darn cute. You're a cutie too.
Thank u
