Neil, at 4:06, you mentioned the "joystick," which is just the controls for adjusting the side mirrors.
Imo the jbeam and the retractable roof can definitly use some improvments, but looking past that this mod looks fenominal, really nice.

I've try all the models of this Civetta on the Nordschlife map and my favorite model by far is the Widebody variant, is incredibly grippy, fast and stable on the curves, I love it, not the fastest but definitely the most fun to drive 🗿

360 Modena is among one the best looking cars IMO, and this checks most of those boxes.
In addition to Ferrari, this thing has some design cues from a Spyker, and Jaguar XKR. (And the long backend is reminiscent of an Audi R8.)

It's not made from scratch, it's based on GTA IV Turismo which was based on Ferrari F360
It was made from scratch, it jist happens that when two games have a car based on an existing car that there will be shared design language. In this case since both are based on the Ferrari 360 they have to be different or pay royalties to Ferrari. One option happens to be cheaper, so here we are with 3 suspiciously similar but legally distinct cars.

@@ApollonDriver all of the things that are similar are also shared with the Ferrari 360. So while I concede they are indeed similar, they are onoy as similar to each other as they are to the Ferrari.

No, but both are based loosely on a real Ferrari so they share some design language.

can you show us how you put the mods in the game
The easiest is to download them from the repo in game and this will maoe a mods folder that you can find from steam by going to BeamNG, clicking the gear in the bottom right of the banner, clicking manage, then clicking show game files (last part is probably called something else, but I am close). Then drag any zipped mods into the mods folder.

While there are some similarities they are entirely coincidental. Bith hapoen to be based on a real car but both made adjustments to avoid a lawsuit from the italian prancing horse company.

The inspiration for the two cars was the Ferrari 360
The subtitles at the start are a little jarring. If you want to include them, I'd remove the background box and add some fade-in and fade-out to them to make them more easy on the eyes.
Cool mod. Allthough I thoroughly believe this is either highly inspired by, or a modified port from GTA
The good news is this is not actually. Any part from GTA. It is however inspired by the Ferrari 360 which the Grotti Turismo also is inspired by. So all 3 are similar but legally distinct.

Yes, Beam loves a good CPU and the 12400f is decent

That will run the game just fine at low settings. If you love maxed shaders+high FPS you may want a little more GPU, and if you love traffic or large maps you may want more RAM. But yes, that will do just fine.

The old version with fewer features is free. But if you want the version shown here it does cost money.

Cause the mod creator is greedy and literally thinks his work is more valuable than the devs themselves.
I prefer free mods as well, but if a modder puts in this level of work I will definitely throw some cash their way. This mod is worth the price in my opinion. But if you don't have the cash it does have an older free version and there are less than legal ways of getting the paid version free as well.

Literally, paid mods are pure greed. Not even the devs charge for dev quality additions, and this guy thinks his work is worth money cause it has 15 configs? Such a waste I always dislike videos on paid mods.
I did not notice either of these, but there were several bug fixes for similar bugs since your comment. I also prefer free mods, but I believe this car is worth it for me. It may not be worth it for you though.

You are not, many others share that sentiment. But if you look closer at a Ferrari 360, The Civetta Mondello, and the Grotti Turismo you will see each is in fact unique, albeit with lots of similarities as well. The modder (and Rockstar) both didn't feel like fighting Ferrari to make a similar car for thier respective games. That leaves the only option to make a similar car.

Why would you make a superturbo faster than the race variants? That seems backwards
Because racing is about going through corners with weight reduction, downforce etc instead of top speed? It's not that complicated
Usually race cars are tuned with close ratio gearing that prioritizes fast acceleration over top speed, also the extra downforce introduces drag which reduces top speed further but improves cornering. This is because in races its most important to carry speed through corners and accelerate out of corners quickly.
I despise and loath it when mods like this one are locked behind paywalls. it is such a scrummy dirt bag thing to do. to u random readers I would NOT recommend buying this mod or any mod no matter how high quality it is if u cant get it for free. if a huge majority of members of the gaming community dont like it when game devs charge us money to access a mod then what makes people think it is ok for the mod maker themselves to do the exact same thing. this despicable practice needs to be purged from the gaming industry and modding space for good
The dev didn't have to make this car but they decided to on their own free will and if their time and effort isn't worth a couple of bucks to you then don't buy it 🤷♂️ you're not paying for a loot box it's legitimate time and effort someone put into making this.
@@lukeslayer when I said that majority of people hate it when game developers do it. I'm not referring to loot boxes I'm referring to like how Minecraft devs will charge you money for mods. Or another example how Bethesda has their creation club items. Those are by definition mods that the devs make you pay for. So if people hate it when developers do it and what makes it right for a modder to do it.

The same logic if you don’t wanna put your passion and work into creating a mod for free, don’t do it. Mods like the Gavril Vertex and Hirochi CCF have hundreds of configs, they are dev quality and beyond and are available free on the repository. You create almost always less than that and expect money? It’s greed.

In BeamNG, offering a paid mod is literally saying you think your mod, with like 15 configs and J beam flaws I expect in a beta, is worth more than the devs work themselves. All BeamNG updates are free and are guaranteed support.
Man I hate when there’s a car everyone wants and the mod creator is greedy and locks it behind his PayPal. Not even the devs charge for new cars which are 100% guaranteed to not get broken by updates or abandoned. Paid mods in BeamNG are pure greed. And they certainly should have absolute dev perfect J beams and this one doesn’t. Smh what a waste
