Randy and I weighed this big radish back at Country Acres (Francesville, IN) and it weighed 12# 14 oz. That is a BIG RADISH! :) The radishes were fed by a beautiful stand of AU Robin Crimson Clover.
I know this is an old video, but I was wondering what your seed rates were for each species? I'm getting ready to do the same thing, except with turnips. Any help/info you could provide would be awesome!
it's bad I did this in my backyard that was compacted dirt from 20 years of 4 dogs with the previous owner It did a good job breaking stuff up, but when you turned on the street that leads to my street, so 1/4 mile maybe, you could smell it. I did it in 2020 so most people were inside.

try parsnips, I have grown them in heavy clay and they still sent roots down past 12" into the soil
do you think a goat or sheep would eat that?
Thos large raddish will store lots of nitrogen and other good materials so yes they are much as good as the smaller
How bad is the smell? I don't like the thought of neighbors having to smell this they already have to deal with chicken manure.
