As a Lions fan.... It hurts. But congratulations Commanders, Mikey "Fr0z0ne" Sainristil is a DOG. 6 interceptions, vocal leader in the locker room, in the huddle, and on the field. He will call out plays and routes, he hits HARD like Brian Branch, has amazing hands because he started as a receiver. Oh yeah, did I mention only 2 years at DB since he started as a receiver? And he looks like a polished DB who's played the position for 5+ years. Quick learner, hard worker, and he LOVES to play. Heart of a warrior.

Easily one of my favorite players ever. He’s got heart and smarts and skill. He just makes plays over and over and over. And he is an ELITE open field tackler. Watch the championship against Washington, he just anchored down their receivers at times in the open field. Amazing.
I’m both surprised and disappointed that I haven’t really looked into this guy. I guess I don’t know ball that well. Regardless, I’m glad that there are people in the Commanders organization that finally do. Congratulations Mike and welcome to Washington.

There was a wide receiver from the Washington Huskies who talked about Mike Sainristil. He said Sainristril pissed him off the whole game. He knew what plays the Huskies were running, calling them out pre-snap. He lined up playing zone and ended up playing man. He lined up man and ended up playing zone. Nick Saban called him pound-for-pound the best player in the draft. The Commanders got one heck of a player in Mike Sainristil.
We haven't had a good corner since Champ Bailey, who we proceeded to trade away.

Craziest thing I notice in this video was the first clip he was literally doing the W’s drill. That really separates a DB from a wide receiver. They never speak on the contrast and reasoning of DB converting to a WR we here now though.
