I spend the first 8 minutes going over the craze of college football recruiting, an early story displaying the madness behind it all. What it was like before modern recruiting, and what modern recruiting is today and the characters and platforms of it all.
It's an incredible journey of one of the most promising high school football recruits ever, Willie Williams, who, despite the hype, never got the chance to shine in the NFL. 🏈

💡This was born from an idea I had in 2014. After some online sleuthing and conversations with numerous coaches and players that were on and around 2004 Miami Hurricanes football team. I was able to delve into the enigmatic journey of the most legendary high school football recruit ever to emerge from the heart of Florida, a narrative that has captivated me since my youth.
📝 When writing the script in late 2020 I failed to update it when finishing it this year. Mike Mayock left the Raiders in 2022.

Willie was one of the reasons I got in to recruiting and one of my fav Miami recruits ever despite what happened at Miami. I tried to get in touch with him years before i made this video.
