Brown has lost his mind. Harbaugh picked the Chargers because of Herbert, he said that in his press conference when he took the job. I'd be happy with JJ McCarthy or Bo Nix, but would be happier with McCarthy cause JJ is 21, Nix is 24, but I think they are both very good options and will finally give the Broncos a QB to build around and succeed.
I'm finding myself the only BRONCOS fan who wants to trade down for a 2nd or even possibly multiple draft picks. I'm hoping to pick up Nix late in the 1st RD and another star in the 2nd. We NEED to grab two stars in this draft. I've been a die-hard since the early 80's... Pls, Pls, Pls, don't trade multiple 1st and 2nd RD picks again!!

It would be nice to trade back with the Eagles for their 22nd, 50th and 120th picks. This will still gives us Bo Nix I believe and 2 more picks where we can get an Edge on pick 50 and possibly a WR on 120 (maybe Luke McCaffrey) if we get the 120th pick from the Eagles we would have back to back picks with the 120th and 121st picks in that round

@@JoshuaFritz You have a point but I am a firm believer that the Raiders are looking to either add QB Michael Penix Jr or CB Quinyon Mitchell. We should be good to snatch Bo Nix at the 22nd pick if we trade back with the Eagles
Of course they get calls, Sutton is a valuable asset, but I do not think they have any ideas of moving him.
Thursday is not coming quickly enough. I really like the pick of Nix at or after 12. Nix is a perfect QB for Payton. He does well in the pocket but he can run if he needs to.

Everybody is trying to put a puzzle together without the picture on the puzzle box to guide them. All they need to be is patient and the answers will reveal themselves. As Denzel Washington said, "What's the long-term effect of too much information? One of the effects is the need to be first, not even to be true anymore." That's what is happening with all the discussion related to the new uniforms and the draft. By this time next week, we will have our answers and everybody can move on to the next subject to run into the ground discussing.
Bingo. Draft prognostication is now a cottage industry with dozens of people who know very little about the players or the people picking them. The funny part is...almost nobody has actually bothered to listen to the clues that Sean Payton himself has given us months ago before the draft season even started. Nor do they know what he has tended to do in the past. Mock drafts are mostly based on what the person creating the mock would like to do, not what the team will likely do.

@@albertocuadrado8461 If we could end up with the QB Payton really wants AND pick up a second it seems worth it. I wonder if we'd just be "settling" on Nix in that scenario...
@@SportsTalkDenver for some reason I am starting to think that Sean Payton might not draft the QB he wants due to our draft capital being thin and might end up getting the best player available whether we trade back or not. I believe that he might roll with Stidham and Wilson this year and go for the QB he really wants in Next years draft or mold Zach Wilson into that starter which the Jets could not develop, proving himself as the QB whisperer he is and Zach Wilson as the worst mistake the Jets made by trading him away to us for literally nothing lol
They should trade down and anthoer team first round and see if you could get more draft capital

I keep hearing a theory that is growing on me. Thoughts??:: Take the best corner at 12. (Reset that contract position on a rookie deal during the rebuild vs. pay Sutain). Trade Surtain into the 20ish pick. Also pick up a 2025 2nd in the Surtain trade. Pick QB at ~20, idealy Bo Nix. Now you have a top corner talent and QB talemt on rookie deals + a 2nd next year. Thoughts??
