- During a hack weekend I put together Oct 2015 to explore what could be done with music and blockchains, Tiny Human was originally released. Teams formed and much fun was had. It sold 222 copies and was the first piece of music sold on the Ethereum blockchain using smart contracts to pay the musicians and the mastering engineer directly.
All proceeds went to fund what is now a digital ID for music makers currently in Beta.

I stuck around waiting for her after a concert in Houston and she is the nicest, funniest, most caring/giving artist I have met. She made me feel like I was the only person waiting for her and we had a lovely chat for about 5 minutes. I hope you have seen her live in concert. Magical experience.

This is so magnificently perfect - just a reminder that Imogen's never maudlin, even while capturing truly full emotion. Lots of people write or sing songs about motherhood or loving a child and usually hit one or two notes - Imogen hits the love, exhaustion, rueful frustration, the understanding of the natural process (children take and parents give), the quick-and-you-miss-it acknowledgment that sometimes parents don't get to see their children grown when they're in a position to finally thank them...
Look how much a good parent holds inside them. It makes them miss and remember how much I respect my mother.
+jb1552 That's a beautiful way of looking at it. I must admit I was a little worried about this song considering I have no kids. Usually I can I always find some way to relate to Immi's lyrics...doesn't mean that's the only reason I love her as an artist...but it's usually the icing on the cake. Last year, on our two day journey home to Memphis, TN from Denver, CO, my wife and I listened to your Sparks CD with our 25 year old Tiny Human. The next day following our return, our Tiny Human (Gabriel) passed away. We will always miss him, but your new song seems to reconnect us. Thanks for your beautiful music and sentiments. Congratulations on the birth of Scout, your Tiny Human.

Imogen Heap is quite possibly the best artist of the time, and has been so for a long time. Never have I heard someone sing with such emotional fluency and conviction, it's as if she writes what she feels on these songs as soon as she feels it so that the emotions choose the words and take centerstage. And the thing is she hasn't compromised her musicality or tried to shift gears to appease certain audiences, instead choosing to just expound upon the knowledge of her profession and make relatable, beautifully themed music from her heart, and as a listener it shows and I appreciate that. We all do. Keep up the good work Imogen and congratulations on your now year old daughter, she is blessed to have such a beautiful mother to be raised under.
Only a new, inexperienced, first time parent of a tough baby can understand the soul crushing beauty of this song and truly absorb and feel the profound impact of each and every word of this mind bendingly beautiful song. God!! Words cannot describe how much I love Imogen Heap. She is other worldly in her abilities to write beautiful music that pierces the heart. I haven't stopped listening to this since a few days ago. I don't think I'll ever, EVER get sick of listening to Imogen. I put her Pandora on when my students are doing peer review, I listen to her when I'm falling asleep, I listen to her in the car, sing to her in the shower - she's got music for everything and whenever she comes out with something new I get in an "imoggy mood" where all I want to do is listen to her entire discography (from "headlock" and "little bird" to, NOW, this new song). Perfect. She's PERFECT.

The idea of pregnancy and parenthood has always felt so alien to me, like it is nothing I could ever want as a goal in life, but I feel like this song has conveyed to me the precise emotions that parenthood would bring to a human, like this explains to me the beauty of the thing. This is absolutely fantastic. Imogen is an artist like no one else.

People ask me what the best feeling in the world was... It was when I was pregnant and birthed . Nothing compares to it all. I loved being pregnant, it was indescribably beautiful. Some people hate it and hate parenthood .. I have loved every second of it all. I am so grateful that not even words could translate the sheer humble gratitude I have for the opportunity to have been a mother a homemaker. I had hoped for lots more children and an earthly husband to love and cherish to share in happiness and to honor but even if that doesnt happen , no words could describe the joy and happiness I feel as a loving mother and homemaker. I am blessed.

The part where she sings "I can't stand imagine life without you," while she slowly vanishes, and as the song picks back up, she suddenly reappears is utterly powerful. So beautiful and moving.
Her music speaks to the inner most parts of my soul. Pulling forth emotions I haven't felt in a long time. Makes me feel human and vulnerable. So much beauty and life put into sound.

Great song I heard Lifeline around the time when my daughter was in the NICU because she was very premature and not given a good chance on surviving but she was a trooper and pushed through, now hearing this song defines how her life impacted my world since.
