All of which are dramatically easier to acquire, and use while being cheaper. Kinda like making a shirt out of typha fiber (cattail plant) than selling that for $1000 due to rarity, and calling it too "silk" to suggest prestigious value. I don't see this taking off just due to it being a scarcity market, pretty hard pressed to imagine we have nothing that can't beat Lotus "silk' in all properties, and characteristics.
I think it's a waste of plants and time because this looks very similar to the fabric used for sacks of potatoes or onions😭😭. I think anybody who would buy this jacket has awful taste and just wants to wear brands to brag and it's sad

Lotus silk is more expensive but much harder to yield.. So people are moving towards spider-web silk .. It easy durable and you don't have to kill silkworms in the process.
