    Have you tried installing the Air Raid Offense, but don't know where to begin? Do you want to learn about the Air Raid Offense's passing concepts, yet don't know where to look online? Are you curious about Air Raid offensive schemes, but don't know what the concepts are called?
    You're in luck. In today's CZcams Live Clinic, we will be talking with Coach Patrick Taylor. Coach Patrick Taylor learned the Air Raid Offenese from the Godfather of the Air Raid himself - Hal Mumme. Coach Taylor flew in Coach Mumme and had him teach the entire Air Raid Offense to his team.
    Since that faithful meeting with Coach Hal Mumme, Coach Patrick Taylor has been studying and refining the Air Raid Offense at North Surry High School.
    Coach Patrick Taylor has his own blog where he talks about the Air Raid Offense - www.coachpatricktaylor.com/

    most of my quick game I leave the running back in to check for the blitz then delay out is it better to just swing him now and make the qb read that 6th guy or leave him in to block first

    • @nicolasbernardini3413
      @nicolasbernardini3413 Před 4 lety

      It depends on whether or not you're doing quick game or drop back. For quick game I just send him out, but for drop back, unless he's in athe route I make the running back responsible for 2 players. If one comes he blocks them, if they both come there is nobody to cover him on a quick route like a flare or an angle or stick

    Hi Coach.. great video. Talking about the run game.. anytime we are running a wrap play our OL uses the covered/ uncovered rule to determine who pulls. Even font OT pulls, odd front OG pulls.. not sure if you used a rule like this.. let me know what you use. thanks coach

    @alexpurvis649 Před 5 lety

    I know it’s somewhat similar, but what would you think about the idea of not even calling plays? Sounds crazy right. What I’m saying is that the Q is taught the various reactions that they’ll see based on the formation pre snap, ex; they leave the X one on one or they’re playing 2 over 3 with a safety high so there’s leverage, and then the Q has a set number of concepts/rpos that they call on the line based on their reaction. It’s not the exact same as you guys discuss because you aren’t actually calling a play, it’s all reaction based and it goes along with the saying “whoever has the chalk last wins” / “whoever shows their cards last wins”.

    Coach, when people look at offenses they seem to have a general philosophy with the west coast emphasizing short efficient passes and air Coryell being a vertical offense. What would you say is the air raid's philosophy?
