it looks so beautiful and makes complete sense why you'd take this opportunity - but also worth keeping in mind that for all the "progress" it has been making Dubai is still problematic, local women and lgbtq people lack basic rights and the ruler has imprisoned and tortured his own daughters. I think it's still valid to visit and enjoy it, I've spent a new year's there too so this is not criticism (there's still progress and amazing people there) but good to keep in mind/acknowledge that there's this other, darker side x

Don’t see the point in this kinda criticism, say that to Beyonce. If Valeria goes or doesn’t it won’t affect government or politics in Dubai, they are their own country we like it or not, but that’s not Valeria’s fault. Heck, most of us wouldn’t think twice if offered this opportunity. By your logic you shouldn’t be on CZcams when they have let so many mishaps happen about social injustices.
Local women lack basic rights!!! The stupidity.

Dubai is beautiful but it is a terrible place for the people that work there, is basically modern day slavery.
don't exaggerate, please. Nobody is forcing those people to go to Dubai and work there. They are given an opportunity, which their own countries had not given them. Yes, some workers have it tougher than the others, but overall, it's pretty good. This is coming from sm1 who had lived and worked there for 5 years. And when it comes to a modern-day slavery, EVERY country has it. Literally, EVERY last one of them, 1st world or 3rd.

I normally love your videos but this one was a bit disappointing. You only talk about the bright side of Dubai, but there are so many problems such as the lack of freedom of speech, death sentence and the cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment of prisoners that have not at all been mentioned in your video.

Plus, as I understood it was their first time in Dubai and they probably are not even aware of this “dark side”. Nevertheless, I really don’t agree that they should talk about it. For this type of content you have other channels to choose from.
