Well first of all Evie being so nervous that she didn’t even care about Knight shifting on the bed is so KFNDKDNDN I love them. I would die for them. If anything happens to them ever again I will CRY.

Also I know we know nothing about Rogue other than the fact that they are… well practically constantly delirious. But I love them. I need to hear more from them. They are so cool and I have never been attached to a listener character so quick. Their situation is just so interesting and their tie to Rachelle??? I’m so excited to see what Castle does with them!!
ALSO LYDIA???? AS IN CELINE’S WIFE??? INSANE REVEAL! I thought she was gonna end up being a love interest for Rogue. Which I guess poly isn’t off the table but seems very unlikely all things considered lol. Or maybe Rogue becoming like a reluctant adopted child to Lydia?? The whole “I’m not your parent. I know that, do you know that?” Trope. Love me some fucked up found family.
But all in all this was so good! I’m so happy Evie finally got some closure, however confusing it was. And I’m so so so so so excited to see more of Lydia and Rogue. And maybe get some cute little scenes with Lydia and Celine here and there??? They have such an unexpected dynamic given how we’ve seen Celine interacting with everyone else in the cast, and I’m so very excited to learn more about their relationship!

They just keep insisting on it or she becomes fond of them and then Celine slowly begins to grow them. I don’t think Evie or them, but I don’t think it’s completely off the table. They wouldn’t come to terms with the fact that They have recovered

I have a theory, so Rachelle had been mentioned in this, but she also is training the blood mage, so i think that they are trying to make some sort of rouge army, and they need the blood mage to get the pages of that book (i haven't comprehended why the books important yet)
Most likely the tome and it's various codex Rachelle is looking for may have been transcribed by blood mages on how to reverse the effects of vampirism or how to kill vampires outright. My hypothesis of the matter is that multiple weilder branches ( elementals, oracles from S.I.G.H.T., Telepaths/ Empaths, Shifters, etc.) at one point all had grimoires that contained bits and peices of the puzzle that blood mages were able to peice together into one spell. Ergo, if " turn multiple weilders into vampires" was a programmed command, it could be so that they could decodify each spell inside said grimoire.
This now begs the question though. How do we keep Bud safe, as they are an open weilder ( multi branch of magic user).

See as unhinged of a take this may be, i feel exclusively bad for the rogue, like im sad that evie had that snatched away from her, but as far as i can tell its like being upset that a deer was attacked by a cheetah.. like.. idk. Like i get not wanting rogue to like them but like actively threatening them seems a bit far, like i get it, but in the same vein i get rogue just like ditching potential rehab given what theyve experienced. Like theyre not doing much of a good job of suggesting rehab as a option, more suggesting death after repentance from all i can tell.

From what they've said rogue is only barely holding on to their sense of self another five or ten years and they may not have been a person anymore.
I think everyone's just too emotionally attached to the situation as outside observers, we can tell that there is no suspect in this situation, just two victims.
I think it would be a completely different story if Rogue had some ability to choose. Like if it was more of an addiction sort of thing then active mind control people simply quelled an addictive personality then I could blame them.
But it literally is them just getting their whole brain reprogrammed to follow this one set of orders in amassing, they're going to be deprogrammed so without another vampire who has the skill set he had no choice in the matter.
But from what we were told, it seems like Evie was just the closest person they thought was a mage wrong place, wrong time sort of situation.
Which sucks for the both of them.

Me hoping there is some point where Rogue actually gets to be somehow parentally towards Genevieve...it seems impossible now, but I do think there is some time and rehabilitation for them to gain some responsibility for her, although this might end in rogue sacrificing themselves for her.

Glad my sweet Genevieve finally has closure in her maker's identity. The poor woman has been through so much, and I'm forever greatful that Knight has her back through it all. 💙
And lastly! Lydia CONFIRMED! Vampire hunter wife baby! That's so badass! Sadly not voiced by CW like we were expecting, but hey, she still voices Valera, and she's epic at it.

After listening to what happened to the Rogue and how it is similar and connects to Rangers story with Isaiah and Rochelle I am absolutely terrified for Isaiah’s safety! Specifically that not only is he going to be mind wiped more but his disobedience towards Rochelle regarding the blood mage she has will cause her to turn him into a rogue like Genevieve’s maker and that eventually when the ✨plot thickens✨ a beyond-saving-rogue-vamp-Isaiah will come face to face with Ranger again 🥶 Y’all I don’t think I could actually handle that level of angst 😭

Guessing Rogue said that Knight should have killed them. Probably wishing they were dead, after becoming lucid enough to know what they’ve done - what they had become. Even more so after having one of their victims pity them.
(Also caught a “not good enough” whisper when Celine mentioned they turned a Shifter’s Mate - a thought towards themself, or their mind wipe magic at work, saying Evie shouldn’t have been turned, that she “was not good enough” for lacking magic)
(Pausing to alter my earlier thought: I think Rogue is aggressive to a degree, but toward Celine and the others. Because they’re angry, and honestly… while they hate what happened, a part of them truly hates themself as well. And wants to die for it. And lashing out at powerful people like Lydia and Celine could help make that happen)

Walking away is absolutely an option, and perfectly okay to do.
No feelings are wrong when it comes to something like this. And with someone as empathetic as Evie, it’s understandable she’d feel for them, to some degree. Even if she’s angry and hurting.
(And as a highly empathetic person myself - FUCK DO I FEEL THAT! Hating someone’s actions but struggling to hate the person, and being pissed off when you feel sympathy or pity for them, cause a part of you is angry and thinks they don’t deserve it)
You dealt with a hell of a lot of emotions and big things just now, Evie. Processing may take a while.
Having a face, an identity to a nameless terror can help things seem less scary. Make them more personable, and therefore - more easily stood up against.

As much as I get the term (which she has been referred to, I don't think she's a vampire hunter specifically (more like vamp that helps to clear out/hunt/kill vamps that are too far gone to bloodlust or hunt for the thrill or rogues). But in the context, yes, she's the one that hunted down Rogue in Captured By A Vampire Hunter
