- Pro-Palestine protesters could be avoiding arrest, after they ditched 'From the river to the sea', and replaced it with a new Arabic chant that calls for ethnic cleansing and Jewish genocide.
Because the chant is in Arabic, Met Police appear to be unaware that the chant is actually inciting violence.

So basically, the streets aren't potentially safe if the police fear that a singly ' openly Jewish' man's presence will 'potentially' cause a disturbance of the peace.

They wouldn’t be able to protest like this in the first place.
I guess they would, because the job of police is firstly to maintain order and near-term public safety, not to ensure equity. (as much as I little understand police thinking worldwide). So wider questions should probably be posed, like the size of the police force, who approves particular mass-participant events, and so on, as police will by default always favor near-term safety over what's fair or equitable, it's not their immeidate job. At a particular event as it happens, I guess they need to be wise, not just, about use of public space.
