I know they are way over priced for a plastic watch. I'm sure production cost is under $5 but the collaboration branding takes the cake making $40 each from Swatch and The Simpsons. This will either be a limited run or we will see clearance deals. I've seen clearance deals before, so watch out for them from time to time.
Pricey... I remember having these as a teen... I remember the protectors you could buy to keep the plastic face from sratching so easy. Definitely take care of it. Very Cool watch, but $110.00 seems pretty steep but it's a nice addition to a collection. I think back then you got them for like $15-20.
Yes, I think it is worth the price. This is a special collaboration between Simpsons & Swatch. Especially for Christmas with the portrait of the entire family. It is not cheaply made, this type of Swatch has been made since many years ago. It is plastic. If you have store you can visit you can see it in person and touch it - they have many on display.

It looks cheaply made but these type of watches have always been made of plastic/rubber. Take care of it and you can wear it for many years.
