I’m with you on the IG arms. Those are from Scrapiron and a poor choice. They just don’t flow well with the look of the jacket and torso. They should have just gone with the arms from the CG. Would have fit better IMO.
The Sisters alone will be worth an arm and leg on the aftermarket, could easily see them hitting the 200 mark each at a min on first day. Especially if only the backing min of 8k are sold (meaning only 8k sisters will be in the world), that would make that set very hard to get, on par with Jabba's Sail Barge. Unlike the Ghost and Razor Crest which sold at the 22-23k mark, which made them more plentiful on the aftermarket and prices are not too extreme atm for those. I kick myself to this day for not backing the Sail Barge, now it's thousands of dollars out of reach. I am backing 2 Cantinas atm, one to keep and one to sell off.
That cantina haslab is a strategic misfire in my opinion. I doubt very much it will fund. Yes, it’s an iconic scene from the movie but it’s still just a bar. How much actual play will there be? Now if they had announced a Death Star, Hoth, or Bespin play set it would fully fund in just a few hours depending on detail and playability.
I'm grabbing Retro Cobra Commander, 4-5 Retro Cobra Troops, since I missed the original ones. Retro Stalker and Alpine. Also, if the Rattler is the haslab, I'll grab that day 1.
The trooper is good. No idea why ppl hating on it
@CoffeeNToys I'm starting to think maybe I should just collect the retro cards. But they're blurring the lines between the classified and retro lines.
Yeah I wish they’d split the lines sorta how Marvel Legends does with Spidey/IM/Xmen etc
I have one trooper two infrantry troopers and one officer. It is hard to find army builders where I live looking to get more
The Marauders and Sarge and Stinger will be on sale 6/18. Retros on 6/11. Now I’m not sure if Target will have a Classified option during the Summer Geek Out like they did last year. It’s a six weeks program starting 6/14. Actually now that I look 7/21 is date for release of Tiger PAW and Wreckage as well as Roadblock and Tripwire. 7/21 is within six weeks of 6/14. So yes there will be a Target Classified this Summer. Walmart does have Nightforce RAM and Shockwave are also showing July release. So not Yo Joe June but before SDCC. The Skybound Compendium is disappointing as it’s only buy one or all four. Honestly I just wanted the first two Compendiums as I didn’t really read the comics as a kid. Those two Compendiums would take me through the Cobra Civil War which is a story I want to read. So I’ll look for a trade. I bought one. It’s like $75 with shipping. I just saw 1-50 Compendium on Target for $64.99. It’s done by Image I believe. So I’m considering backing out. I don’t understand why there wasn’t an option to buy whatever amount of Compendiums you want. I don’t care about collector cards or whatever things they throw in. Actually I don’t think there is much in regards to perks if you just give Skybound $75. Anyway. I’m saving my money for Classified Haslab. Star Wars Haslabs don’t interest me. Rattler will make for an exciting offering to show at SDCC. I’m very curious to see what’s happening with the Dragonfly. Can’t wait for that! I kind of like the streamline look for Alpine. I need him for palling around with Quick Kick and Bazooka. I like the other offerings too. I’ll get them. They are so far away it’s kind of just an exercise in preordering or not. It’s okay I have over a 100 Classified figures to enjoy for now. Insane how the line has expanded and released so much stuff. It’s taking over a good portion of my display space.
Also with you regarding Alpine and his backpack. But if you have retro Scarlett her back pack or Grunt’s will work perfect for the weapons he comes with. I’m more aggravated they gave him an AK47 instead of a SBR like Outback’s or the SMG from the Snake Eyes movie Baroness. Those would have fit him better and make more sense for a mountaineer to carry given weight considerations in a real world climb. But luckily I have tons of weapons and can kit him out as befits the character. But it annoys me when you can tell the amount of detail Hasbro gives to a figure.
