important to note. the stomp seems to be bugged on PC and only a few PC players can seem to preform the stomp. majortity cant do it. (out of the me and the 11 other people i play with on pc. only 1 out of 12 of us the mech stomp works for.

I didn't know the mech could stomp.
Kind of like the automaton at-st's can stomp as well.

Can't stomp at all, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was bugged.
The music you chose sends me back. Several games have captured the magic of early halo multiplayer, but another solid hit like halo reach or halo 3 would be amazing. Helldivers 2 could be that game for many people.
Pairing the mech with EMS mortar is probably the way to go
next patch ems is gonna emp the mech if you step in the field
Well Anti EMP technology does exist, though I'm not sure if it exists in Helldivers or the field could be strong enough to bypass it.
@@Salem-AngelAnti-EMP tech generally protects the electronics from being permanently fried, but usually doesn't prevent it from shutting down. Faraday cages can work to a degree but they're... hard to shrink down enough to fit inside the housing of an electric circuit without also disrupting it.

@@Vulgar_Worlock I've not studied a lot on it, and wasn't referring to Faraday Cages and don't know exactly how it works but a lot of modern military vehicles have something in the wiring that is supposed to protect them from potential EMP's or from power surges. (Like I said Anti EMP tech isn't my main field of study but I think that's how it works?)
Very cool, I was just walking over the small bugs, I had not even thought they would have a melee ability for the Mech.
i expected a way to reload mech but this is pretty great xD i LOVE the use of halo music in ur videos! and i love that this mech is 100% just a mantis from halo 4, rockets missiles and the legendary stomp is even here!

For real. As long as you get it called in at the right moment before you are swarmed, it's golden. I'm betting people are calling it in in the middle of a shit show and get blown up instantly

Good tip, if I ever manage to run put of ammo. The few times I've gotten the mech out I've been accidentally team killer or stepped on a mine when I was almost out of ammo.

can you use the stomp by itself to counter the charger when its in full charge if you time it right? would be nice to have a way to avoid getting one shot even if it required a bit of skill to pull off

I didn’t know the mech COULD melee. I may have to try that out.
I have noticed that the stomp stops going off after the mech takes some damage. You can press the button and the mech won't stomp. It could be a state bug like some that appear with carrying a package, but I think it makes sense. Damaged mechs also seem to limp at times
Okay, the game is working in arcane ways. Mech melee was one of the first things I've tried, and my mech wouldn't stomp at all, when the melee button was pressed (some people said it stops working when you rebind the melee key, but the issue is - I haven't rebound it).
No idea why.
Also, it's insane to use the map while inside the mech, because it doesn't stop you from shooting. What to mark an objective on your map from inside the mech? Enjoy blasting a rocket when you click.

The walker can only stomp when both red jerry cans on the back are present, which seems to be random when it spawns.

Infinite already has a ton of vehicles
Way to ignore the all the new maps that have been uploaded into matchmaking. I think Infinite has at least 70 maps for multiplayer overall, more than any previous game.

Halo is dead and that kills me inside but at least the industry and culture at large is moving on to better places. 2011 was a good year but it was also almost a decade and a half ago. It’s time we moved on too.

I have had some difficulty aiming the stomp but i havbt had much time with it yet and it was against small enemies so,,,, hmm.
More importantly, i feel you kind of left ab important bit of info UNSTATED! That being that mech apparently ignores EMS?! Thats so awesome, as that other guy said, pair it with the ems mortar and laugh as you literally stomp circles around enemies

Have wanted to do this since you posted, but have no idea what the PC bonding is for stomp. It’s not the melee button (F)
It would be really fun that if one of your teammates have a supply pack, they can refill 1/3 of the mech’s ammunition

Wow, I didn't even bother pressing the melee button on the mech. It's good to know it's not completely defenseless when it's out of ammo.
once they patch and fix it up, this thing i going to be a beast (but maybe it's just copium on my end cause ik they never rly buffed the mech in HD1; but our cooldowns and all else are much higher so here's hoping)

Think they need a Armored core damage system in the hud that shows up when you get in like a small blueprint on the side which is green to start abd goes amber to red to black which means parts are broken just to make the UI more robot wheb you get in and the normal stuff for your own guns etc vanishes until you get out
Issue with Mech Stomping is that from what i've seen while using it, it just decides to no longer accept stomp as an actual action every now and then.
So one moment you're stomping, then the next you just can't stomp anymore despite the mech still being alive.
