    Apologies for Audio quality I am slowly getting use to using the microphones.

    Just 1 question do you have a nice cold frosty at the end of the day cause locky looks like he would need a couple.

    why would you not have some escape slots on the traps.we have them on all our traps.saves handling all the small ones.

    • @Aussielobsterhunters
      @Aussielobsterhunters  Před 4 měsíci

      We do, we have 2 sections for the smalls to fall out when hauling. We even put the 'strop' opposite to the escape gap so when hauling through the water the smalls get pushed out.

    All those little crays will grow into bigger crays, will they become pot wise?

    • @Aussielobsterhunters
      @Aussielobsterhunters  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I don't believe they do 😀 they just grow

      Some crays refuse to pot. No rhyme or reason known other than when in soft shell. At 3 Kings in NZ whole csves full of crays. Not interested in baited pot at cave entrance. Nice crays like Tasmsinian type
