With record numbers of migrants crossing the English Channel and a staggering amount of taxpayers' money being spent on their care, it is clear that the government's deterrence strategy has fallen short.

I'm a single Mum (husband left when I discovered I was pregnant) I have worked very hard and paid taxes for 49 years The last time I managed a holiday with my son was 7 years ago. I will need to work another 7 years before I can get my state pension. It upsets me and disgusts me that these spongers use our tax money for luxury hotel stays and think it's funny. It really does not pay to work in this country.
£50k a year per immigrant, I work 50 hrs a week and don’t make that much. Fucking disgusting, this government should be ashamed of themselves. We need to get conservative and labour out of main government and bring in someone I.e reform who cares about its own people instead of treating us like second class citizens

I am Irish, and live in Australia now as I could not make ends meet in Ireland.
We live on an island and it is filing up fast, what happened to charity begins at home. We have ex soldiers on the streets, people who served their country and can't get help, but someone who arrives illegally and has not contributed to this country get everything given.
Yet people on carers allowance get £69 a week and treated like the scum of the earth.
The government has failed the UK and the people. Absolutely shocking
Average UK Resident 🇬🇧 cant afford to buy a Flat. And our lovely generously softy Govt has blown off £700M on this Scum ending up without a Uk Visa. Applaud no Slap you!!
