- Disclaimer: This video is just for fun showcase not a min-max gameplay, and i do have some skill issue so just take it easy while watching video. All characters have perfect stats and not a relatable build (Full enhance on sub stats they need, like atk + break eff + speed for break dps, hp + speed + break eff for break support)
Hook E6 with S5 "Indelible Promise" 4* LC, 4 Thief + 2 Talia, full break build.
Gallagher E6 with S5 "What Is Real?" 4* LC, 4 Cloud + 2 Vonwacq.
HMC E6 with S5 "Dance, dance, dance" 4* LC, 4 Watchmaker + 2 Talia.
Ruan Mei E0 with her S1 signature LC, 4 Watchmaker + 2 Vonwacq.
The stage is MoC 12 2.2.2 Second Half.
Turbulence Buff: At the start of every wave of Cycle, summon 1 Trotter onto the field. The Trotter will be immediately defeated when it is Weakness Broken. After the Trotter is defeated, Advance the attacker's Action Forward by 100%, then apply Memory Imprint to all allies. Every stack of Memory Imprint increases the target's ATK by 15% and Break Effect by 30%, up to a max of 5 stack(s).

Hook's kit unironically functions really nicely as a hybrid break dps. Even though the numbers are low, the playstyle works really well with break. All she needs is just some FF levels of number buffs and some break dmg on enhanced atk.

Thats not HMC. HMC damage is based from ur own character's toughness damage. The high toughness on enemy is a regular break thing

Seeing this make me realize the current firefly now feels nothing more than a huge break effect stat stick for HMC. Her kit deserves better as a 5-star.
I mean, 90% of her damage is from HMC, it's no wonder that people will just use Hook or literally any character instead of her.

@@HSRFirefly They still are not wrong lmao. The lion share of her damage is still tied to the HMC and for all the extra "features" you stated the fact remains that removing the HMC from her team absolutely guts her damage.
Critfly doesn't compare and she can't capitalize on her breaks after the initial hit like Boothill can. Unironically Hook the 4 star is more versatile than the premium 5 star firefly and that's pathetic.

Just a suggestion but harmony mc would make use of ruan mei's LC much better than what ruan mei does, so switching them will probably make this team stronger

Yeah that's the thing, 90% of Firefly's damage comes from HMC, so might as well use any character instead, there's no reason to pull her. Their synergy isn't even good, she doesn't implant imaginary for harmony MC
