It would appear a rift has once again opened in our arena that has teleported Kirby to another part of this world to fight a corrupt creature that could realistically wipe us out with little hesitation. @@1Thunderfire The games keep dipping their toes into lore, and that's a good thing, don't get me wrong, but I hate that it doesn't want to commit to a plot that evolves throughout the story, with dialogue, an epic adventure that makes you go through different areas and meet plenty of NPCs, plenty of character interactions (with dialogue for Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Bandana Dee, but not for Kirby, just like Mario and Luigi don't have dialogue but Peach and the toads do) epic cutscenes with awesome fights like in this video, setpieces during bosses with plenty of spectacle similar to Bayonetta (except MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH less brutal, as this is Kirby we're talking about, keep it E) and add to that lore, side quests, and most of all...
I WANT BACKSTORIES FOR THE MAIN CAST!!!
Sure, the anime did give that a bit but it's a completely different universe. Where does Kirby come from? Why is he SOOO similar to Meta Knight? Why is Meta Knight intelligent and mature yet Kirby isn't even though they're from the same species? Why does Meta Knight always feel the need to wear a mask, why does he have galaxia (again the anime did talk about it, but that's not the same story as the games). The lore around the villains is super deep and always connects together, but it's always around the villains! Never about the main characters or popstar, the different areas on popstar, species, and most importantly...
They have yet to confirm my headcanon that just needs to be canon for the Kirby universe to stay cute and wholesome. When enemies pop out into smoke after you defeat them... Can it PLEASE be confirmed they don't die but simply enter a sleepy state and wake up after a few minutes or something? PLEASE?!!!! It just feels wrong when my sisters play and they go "don't kill these, they're sleeping" and my mind goes back to all the other foes we took down and think "do they think it was ok to kill the other ones because they were charging us?". And the worse part is that defeating the enemies is the main appeal, it's the main part of the game, the big fun: the combat with the abilities. If we can't fight foes without thinking we're killing innocent creatures just minding their day, then the game is much less wholesome 😭

I beat the main story yesterday and holy crap, the final battle with [Spoiler] was amazing. Yes, that's like 4 boss fights in a row, but the ending was more like a boss rush.

Meta Knight is the enemy of any negative energy, and he used it to lift rocks in Kirby Star Allies because he was possessed with jamba heart. In this game, he used only his magic (he knows how to use magic)
