- A hopefully helpful little guide for the newer players that don't know how certain items, evidence or objectives work! I hope it's helpful! I started using a new editing program today, so hopefully I can start getting used to it and learn how to do extremely smooth transitions and cool edits!

my personal favorite is the 'how old are you?' I tend to copy and paste it and then spam it a few times during my games once we find the ghost room c; Usually gets an answer pretty quick and it's fun seeing the ghosts age

Just some info for the new players out there! (It’s a lot, 500 words to be exact!)
The crucifix now will stop a hunt completely if used and will be destroyed on use. Candles now regenerate sanity so remember that if you can’t decide what to buy. Questions are the following: “Where are you?”, “Are you a man?”, “Are you a women?”, “How old are you?”, “Can you turn on the lights?”, “Can you write in the book?”, “Give us a sign.”. Saying the ghost name will anger it and it may start to hunt because of that. Fingerprints can only appear on the windows of the ghost room or near the light switch. The dirty water and bone locations are now randomized. Ghost players now have MUCH better vision and can go into the building to check for writing and finger prints for the other players. The temperature reader and spirit box can now be turned on even when on the floor by both live and dead players. If you hear knocking, then check all of the windows and the light switch in the ghost room, if there are no fingerprints in the ghost room after you hear knocking, there will be no fingerprints at all for the rest of the round. Most if not all maps have a second entrance somewhere, so if you get lost or want to get out quickly, then try to use one of the second entrances if you’re close to one. Notes can be found around the map, once you aren’t in a round you can always read the notes in your inventory, the notes are just about in game lore and will not affect your gameplay. Easter eggs are in just about every map and are also just about in game lore. Different difficulties will determine how aggressive the ghost is and how much money you’ll earn. In a round with the insanity difficulty chosen, the ghost can and most likely will kill multiple players so try to be careful. All ghosts can be looped around furniture in the map to prevent them from killing you or your teammates if you didn’t bring a crucifix or if you’ve used your crucifix in a previous hunt. Dying in a round will cause you to lose all of your items that you brought with you. (Not the items the game gives you, the items you’ve paid for.) Motion sensors will beep when the ghost walks in front of it. Players can also cause the motion sensor to activate so keep that in mind. During a hunt, all doors leading to the outside area of the house will immediately become locked so do not try to get out of the house if a hunt happens, instead, try to run away from the ghost, loop the ghost, get the ghost stuck somewhere, or use a crucifix.

When me and my friends played this game all of us were complete noob and one time when one of my friend reached 5% sanity under inside the house the music started playing and all the doors were locked and he can't get out for like 2 mins that was so funny lol he almost pee his pants
haha c; it's great when the it's peoples first times and they get locked in. I sorta wish they could lock more doors on you as well instead of just the outside ones! That would be annoying but fun

Woooo I'm glad this was helpful! Another little tip is if you hear knocking, you should check for fingerprints! The devs said it's 100% to show fingerprint evidence with knocking. If you hear knocking, look around on windows and the light switch and if there is none then theres 100% no fingerprints as evidence

Great video! Just wondering, is there any way to avoid getting attacked while using the EMF reader? Since you have to be near the ghost for it to activate and it will indicate whether it's level 4/5 when there's activity, how do I avoid it from instantly killing/spawning on top of me?
I'd recommend standing at the edge of the room if you're worried about that. As long as you can see the room name at the top of the screen, I think you'll be able to get the evidence from the room. Or make sure to have a crucifix already prepared by your feet and you should be good to go!

I'm glad I could help! There's also an in depth guide on how to get certain evidence a bit quicker and easier that I posted too! It helps get the elusive emf 5 which is honestly a pain, as well as helping to get fingerprints and increasing the chances on book writing!
In my opinion fingerprints are hard to find because the only places they spawn are the windows and next to light switches. Not only are they hard to see, but sometimes the game glitches and fingerprints don't show
Yeah, sometimes I have to wait there for a good minute before I get them on insanity, and insanity right now is bugged where evidence shows up quicker ;-; still a minute ahhh haha

are emf 5 readings bugged currently because i havent ever gotten an emf 5 reading and ive encountered ghosts with an emf 5 reading as a piece of evidence
Ever since the difficulty revamping update last week they're just a lot less frequent ;-; I tend to get them quite quickly for jinns, but almost never for banshees, shades and onis which makes the game much slower and more luck based to get it/guess it ;c

I bought some strong flashlights for some people in my game but they were toxic and kept blaming me for everything. So I just wasted my money on them since I also disconnected and lost my things lol
Ahhh that sucks ;-; It's been a little sucky lately with disconnecting, hopefully you get some quick wins to get your money back!
The players are usually toxic, some of them called stupid and called me names in foreign languages because I actually used my brain to figure out what the ghost was while they pretty much did nothing to help

I mean, I know lots of tips that this video didn’t cover and I’ve pretty much mastered Ghost hunts, there’s a slim chance I’ll get killed by a ghost hunt though because I’ll get caught off guard or people will follow me and it makes me think the ghost is chasing them

Hey u were in my game a long time ago I was freaking out luv ur videos man.
My problem I had was the freezing temperature. So I thought anything under 7 was the evidence. That’s why I was always wrong.
Oh yeah, sorry about that ;-; They changed it up in a recent update like a few months ago where the freezing temperatures are changed, but there's no way to change an already uploaded video
Now freezing temperatures are negative and ghost room is like 3-5 or something? Sorry!
Small question: When you buy something like a crucifix, is it permanent?
and if it’s not how long does it last?
If you add it into a game and you die/leave/crash during that game then it'll be lost, but if you keep surviving and leaving through the van then you never lose it

Have you heard of the duplication glitch? You can duplicate items like goggles, strong flashlights, and anyThing in the item shop.
Some guy took a screenshot with like over 100 goggles, crucifixes, and strong flashlights.

USEFULL TIP : Beware of the ghost type you get,if you get banshee as the ghost type u better get the evidence quick or else if the peace timer runs out.It gets SUPER AGGRESSIVE and can ruin your victory :D

I have a problem that's also happening with my friends. We had the items in the last round but when we played another round all of them disappear. Like crucifix, strong flashlight etc.
If you guys died, that's probably why they've disappeared, but besides that I don't know ;-; They only disappear if you die or leave, but if you left without dying then you should still have them and just have to add them again o-o

are objectives used for anything? like the identifying ghost obviously is, but what about the water? :D
Once you leave the game it'll tell you what they're for technically. It's to get extra money/xp owo
Each objective gives $10, plus on the higher difficulties the bonus makes it so you get even more.
This is for EACH objective
$10 on easy (probably)
$15 on medium???
$20 on hard
$30 on insanity

I sadly can't record mobile videos ;-; Also, the dirty water not working on mobile is a known bug and they've been working on a fix for it. I dunno when it'll be released, but if you join their discord you'll know more about it! I'm glad this video was helpful, but I'm still sorry about the mobile part ;c

A button called "Report" will appear when there is dirty water appears in a sink. Dirty water only appears like 5 or 3 minutes into the game.

I'm confuse with the spirit book when you say "Show us a sign" It doesn't do anything
Show us a sign is more of you just asking the ghost to do something. So maybe it'll throw a book, slam a door or something like that. For getting the writing you can use uh... 'Can you write in the book?' or something and it'll increase the chances of it writing
