Darren gives a superlative demonstration of his half scale Pitts Challenger Biplane at the BMFA Power Nationals Showline. This biplane was built from an EMHW kit and features a GP 176CC engine. The scheme on this magnificent model was applied by Matt Bishop of Bishop Aviation.

Excellent. My congratulations to "the pilot" and the videographer. I have videoed many flying displays and have always used manual focus!
No need to quote "the pilot". He just happens to be outside of the plane.
As always amazing camerawork in these videos. half scale biplanes are surprisingly small, but they are a biplane they don’t need a large wingspan and these aerobatic aircraft are quite small.

Great bit of videography Dom but why don't these planes ever have pilots? 🙄
I think generally to save weight. Aerobatic pilots are more conscious of it normally. Only reason I have heard other than some who just don't think it's necessary.
