I have a suggestion for a character if possible. It's a Female character that's Human on her Father's side and a Fairy on her Mother's and she becomes highly skilled with using elemental magic becoming some sort of Elemental Wizard. I think that should be a fairly interesting character to work on. But that's up to you.
