Just read it, tuck along time because they have an awful amount of brown noser's I mean adverts to blindly scroll past. The so called reporter clearly has an issue with police looking bad. And also made a mistake in the typing.
It takes a lawyer or attorney 8 years of schooling to practice law, but 10 weeks of training for a PCSO to enforce the law, how do they think they are qualified to enforce the law when they dont even know the law.

It's hilarious (and terrifying) that so many police officers are so uneducated, it makes you wonder if stupidity is part of the job description. Luckily their are people determined to expose both their ignorance and abuse of power, and hold them to account for it.

One of the worst things for me personally is, they can stop you, question you, accuse you, demean you, patronize you etc. But as soon as they know they're wrong theyre gone in seconds, no more words or arrogant comments. I think there should be a code of conduct or soemthing that forces them to issue a formal apology.
Too true and that's why they carry on doing it. Because they know they can get away with it. I'm sure if they were forced to pay compensation to the wrongfully stopped person, out of their own paychecks of £2 a minute for the time they've wasted, they'd soon stop doing it. You'd think with the number of times this same thing is documented, that there would be a standard re-education go out to all police forces to stop this from happening. They just continue to show that there are a lot of police out there that don't know the laws, and instead effectively make laws up using their gut feelings about what they think is right rather than actual laws.
You'll get a generic half assed, not meant in the slightest, "lessons will be learnt", response, translated,: take this and shove off.

I get what your saying, but whether their right or wrong, the police have to be intimidating and at times demeaning in order to get results. If they just go around being nice to all the suspects then they will never be able to catch any criminals

Just go for it. If you behave within the law and familiarise yourself with certain sections of P.A.C.E you can audit and question the plod and show them for the bunch of power seeking tossers that they are. I have been doing the Cycling Mikey (Check him on youtube great work) thing for a couple of weeks now. Once the police have done what they feel is necessary with the video evidence that I have provided, the clips can then be posted on social media. Catching motorists is easier than shooting fish in a barrel. I reckon if i did an 8 hour shift I could gather evidence to enable the prosecution of 30 a day. I am in west london and my car which i have owned for over four years tells me that the average speed of my car over that time is 16mph. Drivers have a lot of time to look at their mobile devices instead of looking at the road and for cyclists with cameras. The look on their faces when they are caught is priceless. Hahahaha.

13 years ago I applied to be a police officer.
I am so glad that I was turned down if this is what I would have been working with.
I applied and when I went for interview they asked me if I could spell my name. I said "of course". They said "you'll do for us cocker" and I am now an experienced officer who has no clue about the law, how to interact with the public, or respect for the citizens. However , I'm very qualified in ordering a Maccy D and donuts. Isn't life a blast?

Once they speak to you...ask them to state name, shoulder number and station. If refused, tell them you will prosecute them under the 2010 Disability Act.

Police have bodycam. Council and shops have CCTV, most cars have a dash cam but if a member of the public film then its odd or strange. If our ancestors didn't take photographs the history books would be a bit empty.
