For weapon banner, it's a 25% chance for the 5* to be off banner (if the previous weapon was on banner) and 37.5% chance for each of the weapons on the banner

I had 40 pulls. I wanted Xiao. First ten pull, it went gold at 83 pity, got Xiao (Guaranteed) did another ten pull, skipped, got Xiao AGAIN. I then decided to pull on Shenhe's banner for the heck of it (also wanted Chongyun) and skipped, got Mona C1, and did another ten pull, skipped, and got Shenhe. Wtf
Iâm a F2P, I donât even do ten pulls, I do single pulls entirely, that way if I get what I want, whatever extra pulls that wouldâve finished off the ten pull can instead go towards pulling different banners I also want, or can be saved until different banners.
Also, when you do individual pulls I feel itâs a lot more illustrative of the gameâs luck, because you actually have to pull every 3-star. You canât just impulsively rush through it. It also makes it more noticeable when you pull an early 4-star (before hitting 4-star pity). Getting 2 4-stars back to back is rare, but if you get them with a gap of something like 5 to 9 pulls youâre not getting as lucky as you might think and a completed ten pull will just show all your 4-star pulls back to back (even if it goes through the actual order you pulled them, when you pulled them.)

iâve been playing genshin every day for a year and have only bought two welkins, but i will still skip pulls (unless there is a new 4 star, then i will let them play out until i get them) because iâm nervous and just wanna get it over with haha
I wanted 1 copy of Yunjin and my sister always gets lucky, so I asked her to make at most 30 pulls for Yunjin, but stop when she got her. I asked her to roll on the Shen he banner because I already have Xiao and I wonât be mad about getting Shen he, i just donât have the resources to build a new character right now. My sister is a giant Xiao simp and therefore decides to do roll on that banner despite what I said. She did 1 10 pull on a pity if 13, got 3 Yunjin 1 Xiao and a Jean, unfortunately she got Jean before Xiao. Idk if Iâm mad at her or not. On 1 hand that could have been Shen he, A new character, and I donât use Xiao at all I hate his play style. On the other hand she got me 2 5 stars and 3 Yunjin in 1 10 pull.
Mad. I'd be mad. Doesn't matter what she got you, if you say roll on Shenhe she rolls on fecking Shenhe. Or if she doesn't have the capability to somehow resist Xiao (I cannot fathom this) she tells you and doesn't roll. I'm probably getting too worked up and you're probably leaving out some context but sheeesssshhh

I love Shen heâs Character design, personality and backstory, but I donât have any teams or characters that synergies that well with her so thatâs why I decided not to roll for her. Still wanted a Yunjin though, and I didnât want to pick Yunjin at the lantern rite thing where you can choose a 4 star, as I need Xingqiuâs last constellation. So if I had to choose between the 2 5 stars I would much rather had had a Shen he, rather than a Xiao constellation. I donât really like Xiao and I hate his play style, especially since Iâm on mobile.
On the other hand I was only 13 pity in, and now Iâm on 5 pity, with around 60 pulls. So I only lost around 8 pity and 10 fates, which isnât that much all things considered.

Like you asked your sister to go out and buy you a book and she bought you a different book because latter "looked better". Yeah it's just a book, it's just a game, both for enjoyment, but it's still a waste of money (for book) and time/effort (for game).
@@blankness8 Well Iâll probably never let her roll on my account again when Iâm not looking at her doing it (I still want her luck, she has gotten me 3 Zhonglis in the same 10 pull and a lot of early 5 stars, while I just loose a lot of 50/50s) I see what you are saying with the book and stuff and I would probably get mad at that too,(in the moment) and then go down and exchange it for the one I wanted. If Iâm 20 pulls short on any character in the future, she has promised me to pay for those 20 pulls though.
