Good review. I personally prefer hunt vault elite. The nomadik seems to have more filler items in my opinion. If you haven't already considered trying hunt vault elite. It's substantially more at $160 a month, but you get some great items.
Haven't even received my first box and I regret signing up for this. My husband and I each ordered the same thing (he got it for me for Valentine's day as a surprise). I cancelled my order, but they would not refund the purchase even though it was a duplicate going to the same household. I asked if they could at least switch it to a different welcome box, and no one responded. I reached out via a few different avenues, and they merged the requests into my original request, closed them all, and refused to respond. Not even a "No, I'm sorry, that's not our policy". Just ignored. I told Jay to cancel his as well because another review on CZcams said to beware as well. Jay had to confirm his cancellation by clicking a separate bottom on at least 5 pages before it actually cancelled. If he had missed any of them, it wouldn't have gone through. Total scam, and poor business practices. $40.00 for a lesson learned.
Well, I am sorry for the bad experience, I have had nothing but good experiences with this company as many others have. Either way, thank you for watching and for the comment.
Make sure you keep up with your subscription because they will not let you know when they will re-up your subscription they will just charge you. And even if the products haven’t been sent out they do not do refunds at all. Terrible business practices.

Thanks for watching. Sometimes I had to try and figure out what something was, and I always love a new hammock. I have gotten a fair amount of use out of many of the items, but yeah, there were some boxes that didn't really do it for me. I will say, majority of the time, the value of the items was greater than the cost of the box.
Actually box with the "free" hammock.... Included 2 face wipes, a patch for tents, and a sugary powdered drink mix. Oh, and a Nomadik sticker. Avoid at all costs.

Mainly because they send items that I may have never heard of or items that I wouldn’t think I needed. Yes, some boxes are more amazing than others. But again, thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
Great video! Much like you were saying, value is subjective. While the collection of items you got were objectively cheaper as a subscription than if bought individually, you must also take into account opportunity costs. The alternatives are to either pay nothing and receive none of this (net even) or buy the things you personally want individually. If they could've been bought for less than $180, then technically it wouldn't be valuable. On top of that, though, there is subjective "Christmas Day" value that comes with these subscriptions of opening up boxes and being genuinely surprised by the contents. That's a really long-winded way to say that value for something like this will depend on the person and I'm glad you got a sweet beanie and socks! There was some cool stuff across the boxes, but I likey wouldn't buy a subscription. Thanks for the series!
On a side note, I looked into Lawson Hammocks and their Blue Ridge Camping Hammock looks pretty sweet! Might still need a bigger tarp, but would be great for shorter trips (but probably not feasible for section/thru hiking).
Very true. The value is 100% subjective. There were some really cool items that I will use A LOT. But there were also many items I have zero use for.
