How does a club become an ECNL team?
They basically ask ECNL to invite them into one of their conferences and if they meet the requirements then they may join.

what should i do if a team im looking at only has a e64 and a NAL team. should i go to e64 or go to NAL and is ecnl and NAL around the same skill cap?

do you travel together as a team or do you travel separately? if you travel separately do you have to pay for plane tickets and hotels?
i know most ecnl teams travel together and get most things payed for but we don’t travel together and unfortunately had to buy our ticket and hotel😭
How does traveling work when it comes to games far away or out of state?
Im sorry for the late response,
Very few teams do provide a team bus or a team flight to nationals or wherever, but in my club, they didnt provide much so when i needed a ride, I did carpool sometimes with my teammates or my teammates carpooled with anyone if they didnt have a ride!

mls next and ecnl teams are mostly the same level unless its the actual mls youth teams

How did you narrow down which ECNL club to go to? Did you tryout for other out of state ECNL clubs?
sorry for the late response… unfortunately i didn’t tryout for any out of state ecnl clubs but i tried out for 2 of the local ecnl clubs near me because we didn’t want to move. i chose this club because it had the most opportunity on showcasing myself to college coaches and lots of traveling! thanks for asking!

ECNL vs ECNL Rigional are two different thing?
it’s ECRL, lower than ECNL
How hard is it to get into a ecnl club ?
It depends on how good your are and how good the club is. It’s usually quite challenging.
In your opinion, how does ECNL compare to E64?
Ecnl is better
Ecnl is better just because if you want to play at a higher level, you will get higher competition and more oppurtunites to get scouted at the Professional level and College Level

I don’t know that much about mls next lol, I only played ecnl

What is the difference between ecnl and ecnl rl?
ECNL RL is regional league. That's for teams that won their division below ECNL. You need certain certificates to go all the way ECNL.
ECNL RL is where the B team plays
quick question how to do you join encl?
I joined ecnl by just trying out with my club but if you don’t know when tryouts are, you can always reach out to the club and say you are interested in joining and add a highlight reel if possible… Coaches are always looking to improve their teams👍

I tried out for the team back in 2018 which was just the national league team and from there it developed to ECNL!

yes an international student can play ecnl you just have to find the club that plays with ecnl and ask them for more information

If you're good and want to test yourself against the best, try your hardest to play MLS Next. If you're good but don't care to test yourself, play ECNL.
MLS academy’s are better than ECNL mls next club teams are not better than ECNL. we beat the 2nd best team in the southeast division 5-0
We also beat some MLS academy teams

@@liammortensen4161this is what I find unfair about the US system. In my country the equivalent of the best Ecln teams will promote to MLS next and the worse youth teams in MLS next would be relegated. For each age group. It seems the system creates massive bottlenecks for the kids trying to get into clubs affiliated with MLS next based on showcases abr disregard the quality they may show during the season at other high level leagues. Also, 140 odd clubs at MLS next level for a country with 320 million people is too small to find, recruit and develop talent.
