Re-watching and realising how ironic it is when SiFeng says here "I've never shed tears before", but ends up crying so much because of XuanJi over the series. His tears are the saddest thing, too.
Watching this cdrama again. This is the only drama that I haven't skip an episode because it was so engrossing to watch. No other can top this drama for me, aside from the beautiful story and cast, it had a happy ending too.
After rewatching I have to say it's one of the best dramas I have seen ...plus when you know the role everybody is going to play in the later episodes the facial expressions they have in each scene are understood more and you can notice small things you didn't before .The characters are incredible and you can understand their choices from begining to the end

Sheng Yi aka Si Feng is so handsome, talented, & made for this role. Love this drama. I can't believe he's also singing the theme song. He's been so over looked in China & around the world like BTS were when they first started. After 9 yrs of acting & singing, he's now being looked at after "Love & Redemption"...how sad. Nevertheless, keep up the great work. Sheng Yi (Si Feng) has new fans & we love you.

I have watched this 2 times and now watching it again. I have fallen in love with the Chinese culture. I think that it is one of the most beautiful cultures that we have on the Earth. You all are such wonderful actors and actresses. I just wish that you too could have been a couple in real life because there is definitely a chemistry between the two of you in this movie, more than just acting.

This drama is actually in the "xian xia 仙侠" genre which basically means Chinese mythology. It involves gods, goddesses, fairies, spirits, demons, mythical creatures, mythical powers etc. Kinda like Greek mythology. Wuxia is a bit similar to Xianxia, but is more about human beings who are martial fighters/heroes (e.g. martial monks from Shaolin Temple) and who may or may not have cultivated some divine/demonic powers. The plot usually happens in the human realm. E.g. The Untamed is a bit of a combination between Wuxia and Xianxia. But if I have to sort it into one category, I would classify it as Wuxia. Legend of Fei is completely in the Wuxia genre. Dramas like Eternal Love, Love and Destiny, and also this Love and Redemption, are all in the Xianxia genre.

Best drama for 2020 is Love and Redemption. And my discovery for 2020 is the male lead CHENG YI. His acting here is just amazing. Especially the way he acts with his eyes . I have never seen such excellent acting by anyone just by the eyes alone. Whoever watches this show will definitely fall for him . Be warned . 😁
he played our "good guy" role in other dramas. He is very handsome and good acting too. But this one he has to be the bad guy but at least he is also a main male lead in this drama.

You might change your mind in the later episodes, but if not, to each of his own. I'm more on a character with a funny and quirky side. 😁 Nevertheless, I love her as Jing Rong as well.
What if they lost their Mask accidentally while facing dangers or fighting some demons , will they still punished them without mercy?? What if the same case goes for higher authority people in clans
FYI: in the book brother liu has more back story. he is actually a powerful elder with one of the highest positions in lize palace. i think even the palace leader had to listen to him. he had a relationship with an outsider and was punished.
I hope she establishes herself to be stronger than her peers in the upcoming episodes, I literally cant stand weak female leads who always need someone to save them, I want to see them kick some ass 😩🤚
You will love her in the next episode. Her powers are triggered when her friends are in danger. She will become stronger than the male lead. I'm watching it for the second time.
