Very unfair how UK RLWC put top professional teams to play with lower teams. What a shame. Suppose to put all lower teams in different pools to play challenge each other and put all the professional teams in different pools. What a shame
Agree. The governing body of RL that does the draw. It's a pity watching these lower ranked teams get trashed. Playing against top teams and getting the feel of what the standard and competitiveness is also a blessing in disguise, they can only improve in the long run..up their domestic competitions and play more international fixtures. Loved the fight and determination from the Jamaican's to get that try in the dying minutes.
Without the lower teams there wouldn't be a world cup apart from Australia, Nz and England there isn't much else out there
I agree
i hate to see it but again it is called the WORLD CUP for a reason.
I'll be honest with you I don't want that lol we wanted to play against them we had a lot of injuries to the main squad hence just only 2 pros and Dom young switch nations but dont get it twisted we would get pumped regardless but playing against the world best is something you look forward to and the prize money helps with development also but maybe a competition outside of the world cup for developing nations with promotion and relegation because there are a decent amount of new nations wanting to play.
Love the Jamaican from PNG.❤💯
Best moment of the RLWC :-)
