- I'm a big fan of all of Harold Faltermeyer's movie scores. In particular, I love the Top Gun Anthem and was very happy to hear it included in Top Gun Maverick. Today I'm having some fun with it featuring the KORG RK-100S 2 Keytar 🎹🎸🕶️

Back in the day I bought a DX-7II. I was messing around with it and found that tubular bells patch and had the best time playing that bit of the Top Gun theme.
On March 3rd, 1969 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots.
Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to ensure that the handful of men who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world.
They succeeded.
Today the Navy calls it Fighter Weapons School.
The aviators call it:

I see a lot more subscribers in your future....keep posting I love it. I am a keyboard player who graduated high school in 1988. Is fun to see how you recreate this songs. It's also fun to see the classic gear being used to play music from that era. I also enjoy see somebody playing "actual" songs on synths. Thanks for the great content.
