See every country should develop technology according to their population , demography etc. Like China is advanced in technology but they never use it which can lead to loss of their people's job . They outsource technology to other countries. Countries with less population are good for automation . But in a country of 130 crore you can't teach machine learning to a small tailor or say an old man . Everyone can't be in your boundries of coding . It's like telling every animal to become lion to save itself from a lion. Not possible . If there are jobs born in new sector . Always remember that quantity of people will be leaving their job in some or the other field. We should develop technology but only that which fits the demand and need of country . And India's need is not automation . It needs more jobs for people to be employed. Like we don't accept every product for us , we choose what we need and what not . The same should be with technology . We should choose what we need and what not .
People will come to explain me the revolutions . But when cse students will loose job then they will understand what it feels like . You loose a job . You prepare for some other thing . By the time you master another skill or software, there is already a new software to take away your job again . When you give brain to computers remeber brain works very fast .
