I usually go through a Peavey VYPYR or Valeton GP-100 Multi-Effects Processor. Its nice to play neck is smooth, pickups are not stock i replaced them with unbranded ceramic pickups.
I don't understand why anyone wants a fake any kind of guitar. My Harley Benton Tele plays great and sound as good as a MIM Fender for $140 + some setup time. I also have a set neck Squier (silver label 90's) all mahogany with passive EMG that growls very well. It set me back $220 used. Why not either get a budget player or an off brand that plays and sounds better?

Because for about $250 AUD we can't get much of a guitar for that price
