- Seems like when you insult the fanbase by making the first 2 Loved Movies pointless (especially from the very beginning of the picture), making an evil killing machine Terminator a family man even though its supposed to have 'No Remorse, No Pity, No Fear', remaking/ripping off all previous films ala Halloween 2018 and pushing you Political Agenda and more...people seem to not want to see your movie.

The first 5 minutes of Terminator: Dark Fate was a giant Middle Finger to T1 and T2. I am glad that it tanks at the Box Office.
I've said it before and I will say it again, the Terminator Saga ended with Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
Yeah not sticking with the point that if John dies then Skynet wins but no they just wanted to do a PC pile of shit involving a Mexican girl and now the threat is Legion what the fuck is that shit

T4 i didn't mind as a prequel to the first one and didn't hurt T2's impactful ending like T3 T5 and T6 did! im glad it bombed, it's time to put this stale dead franchise to rest and embrace the future with new franchises like John Wick and still always respect/enjoy/appreciate older cinema (20th century cinema).

This movie is Ghostbusters 2016 all over again I'm so glad that it bombed. To me the franchise ended on Terminator 2.
Plus, I would have rather watched a sequel to Terminator Salvation (the only post T2 that tried to do something new).

For aslong as they keep blaming fans and making excuses for why people don't like it such as being sexist, they will never do well with this movie. Because they are refusing to take any criticism, therefore will never give us what we want. It actually shows they don't care about the fans and this idea that it didn't do well because of sexist trolls is ludicrous when Sarah Connor was already a badass strong woman in Terminator 2. We also didn't like John Connor being replaced... Not because he was replaced by a girl but because we grew to love and care about John Connor. How dare they use T2 fans and nostalgia to get people to go see it only to shit on John Connor and usher in new characters. It's really insulting.

No sequels after, T2 have worked because T2 finished the story perfectly. Salvation was a cool stand alone film that actually gave us a look at the future war but even then, I didn't like Marcus's character.
If I'm not wrong, the makers of these films seem to ignore what the fans of the story want. The only way forward in this whole thing is to see the war in the future. The rise of Skynet, the downfall of man, development of Terminators, time travel and whatever the conclusion may be. I know you all know this but they keep giving us Goody Terminator Arnies and new and improved liquid metal baddies regurgitating T2. The mind boggles.
To be honest I don't watch many of your movie reviews but you commenting on current events is great, maybe make more videos like this.

What was he thinking?? HOW did he think the fans would like this? It just boggles the mind. It's so obvious that John Connor is a well loved character and fans would not like this. And they must have known that. Because they were fooling people.. teasing people by making them think Edward Furlong would be back and is hanging out on set. They were trying to make people think he has more than 10 minutes in the movie which he don't. They killed him so frankly, they deserve to have this movie fail. Their ego doesn't want to listen to what the fans want.

The hilarious thing is he complained about his Aliens characters getting killed off in the same way for Alien3. He said it was a slap in the face to Aliens fans. It's the last thing he says on the commentary as the credits roll so you know he was pissed about it. And then he does this! This is even worse. What a clown Cameron has become. James Cameron should’ve directed and written it and they should’ve made us think John Connor is dead but shows up an hour later to help with the final fight and cast a better actor for the Dani character cuz she sucked and was too weak

Apparently Eddie Murphy is still gonna be in a new Twins movie with Arnold and Danny Devito. The story sounds really good so I'm definitely gonna see that when it is finally made but I'm not gonna bother see this new Terminator. Because the writers and director just doesn't care about the story or fans.
They are sure to blame everyone for its failure except themselves...

I didn't hate Dark Fate, but yeah its time to put this franchise to rest as they should have done a long time ago. People just aren't buying into the same rehashed crap over and over again and the BO numbers more than reflect that. I honestly didn't mind T3, but the only great Terminator movies are the first two which came out decades ago. I guess Hollywood has to learn the hard way how to move on from these dead franchises.

I don't know why people hate on T3 it has one of the best action scenes of the series and Arnold gives his last good performance. Yeah, some of the humour is cheesy but nothing as bad as in Genisys.

Haven't seen it yet but the series should have ended logically and in actuality after T-2. All the other films after those, (T-3 is a guilty pleasure) should have been a prime example that it was time to lay the series to rest. All the sequel films have basically been remakes of the first film. Greedy executives in studios are blinded by the fact that James Cameron was coming back and possible endless box office clouded their judgement. If I had been in charge of Paramount and someone came to me and said, "We want to make a new Terminator film." I would have responded: "FUCK OUTTA HERE!" Agree 100% (PS: When will they learn that films are not always about promoting women? They should be about promoting cooperation and equality.)
I'm glad finally audiences are getting smarter and going to see Zombieland 2 instead of this crap for halloween and all that! Zombieland 2 deserved it.
It's better to kill something than let it suffer! this franchise has been a wounded half-dead animal for a long time and nothing good has came out after T2 except for the attraction at Universal. Salvation i didn't mind in it's director's cut and it's a prequel to the first movie and didn't hurt T2's legacy like T3, T5 and this movie did.
T2 was a beautiful end to the story as a terminator saved the world from the apocalypse and John and Sarah moved on and in the extended special edition of T2, it showed an elderly Sarah showing the future has not changed but is bright.
I mean Mission Impossible is still doing great with 5 and 6 and we have new fresh franchises like John Wick which i'm glad audiences are supporting and earning it's money. Here Terminator is a worn out franchise and some people are smart enough against this woke film crap and killing franchises. Alien is another dead franchise even Predator as those should end too. This franchise after T2 has been nothing but diminishing returns and when this bomb, it proves sometimes dead is better and it should send Hollywood the message to let something rest in peace.
Sarah Conner said " this franchise is terminated fucker"! and it's like a dying old man who's been on life support for a very long time and was alive in the first 2 movies but didn't mind Salvation for a prequel to the first movie but since T2 has been in a vegative state, you've come to accept he's gone and waiting for someone to pull the plug and turn off the life support machine and it's happening.
I rather watch A Good To Die Hard Then Terminator Dark Fate again.

Worse mistake was to bring back Arnold, in Salvation the CGI of Arnold was cool because he was bad like the first Terminator, at least Salvation tried to be different , but Geneysis and Dark fate are bollocks, as for James Cameron he is overrated.
The last real good movie James Cameron did was True Lies, and guess what that was 25 years ago!
Titanic and Avatar both are the most overrated movies of all time. Alita Battle Angel was awesome though but in that one James Cameron was just the producer.

Cammie Cam has officially lost his touch! Avatar, yes I liked it back in the day but as time went on, I think it's a bit too overrated and too long (the film rips off Dances with Wolves and Fern Gully. I mean I liked Titanic and Aliens 2 but Cameron is up there with Ridley Scott on killing his own franchise). But I like your jacket by the way.

Interesting that The Shinning is getting a sequel.
Yeah, but that's based on the sequel book by the same author and it's actually a GOOD sequel because it expands the Shining mythology and tells a continuation of a character but with a new story and new villain, which is what a sequel should do; be respectful to the original whilst pushing forward with the story in a new way, not disrespecting and doing away with original characters to just replace them with female versions rehashing the same story.

I'm in the minority here... I liked it. Liked it as in its a good movie, not anything spectacular like T1 or T2, its not the worst movie I have seen all year, that honor goes to Far From Home. There's nothing woke in this movie, even if you have narrative reasons for hating it, the online agenda about wokeness is unfounded.
I see some people saying it isn't woke, but seriously I can't believe people will accept this as not woke. The basic decisions of the story are fundamentally wokeness-oriented, it's a wokened reboot. It's like saying TFA isn't woke because TLJ is more woke. TFA is fundamentally the same thing as TLJ, it's just that some people can't smell the fart before the shit comes out.
