Can we stop acting like it's a big deal whenever this happens with ex members. Normalize members being able to have a conversation without it needing some larger meaning. I find the whole obsession by fans with what is and isn't included in things, be it pictures or using names so borderline toxic and controlling. They can decide for themselves, they don't need our permission to include or exclude whatever they want. Same thing with member inclusion, they have their own reasons why they choose the level of participation they do, freaking out every time someone can't make a shoot is so juvenile. I guess I just hoped for more maturity from such an old fandom. No offense meant to the poster; I guess if it makes you that excited feel free to celebrate (if that was the intent.) It just doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Sorry, I don't know why this wedding/comeback/Suju Returns timeperiod has been so full of misguided outrage about where Siwon is, if Heechul is being excluded, why ex members are blurred/unblurred, who talked about who. They have their own reasons that we as fans don't always know. If you get the urge to complain about these things (and I get that that's not what this post is about, but I think it may appeal to the type) RESIST the urge. Too many times ELF pressure members about things when Suju members are fully capable of handling these things themselves. 💙
I don't disagree with you. I do think fans (incl myself haha) tend to make it a bigger deal than it is. Though as a Sungmin fan, it's more of this way - we know he's desperate to go on stage, yet it's hard for him to do solo (he does get more chances now that he does trot) so the only other way is to go back to the group. Understandably it was his choice to stay away. And we know that it's to protect the group. At the same time it was the certain group of fans who boycotted him for false rumours and it's only natural for us to call them out, especially when media/suju excluded them in public, indirectly supporting these groups. So when they do include him like in this video, it feels like suju finally is on our side, and not those 'toxic' people side. Because for years they avoided talking about him so openly, and support from members was what the antis claimed he doesnt have (for his marriage). Tldr it just feels validated when they mentioned him 😅 but yea on hind sight it's better to let things go on naturally and peacefully without making a big fuss
