For anyone about to start a channel, regardless of whether it is a reaction channel, vlog, or whatever. Before you upload your first video... Make approximately 5 videos before uploading. You can either upload all of them at the same time, or close together. Why?
At first, regardless of your niche, initially yt doesn't know who to put your videos in front of, as it doesn't fully understand who your target audience is. So by making roughly 5 videos, this will help them to determine who your audience is and who to put your videos in front of.
I have a creepypasta narration channel, that is over three yrs old and at the time I didn't know this info, so to begin with, it took ages before I really started getting decent views. I only found out this information just a few months ago. So now I spread the word on this to help others. I am in the process of starting two other channels; one will be a true crime channel and the other will be a reaction channel. I will be implementing this info myself.

@@prapra15777 it wouldnt matter at this point, he meant to do that to save time to help Yt's Algorithm but if youve already posted 3 within a week or 2 then its safe to say they have figured out your niche by now

Alston, I absolutely loved this video! It was just what I was looking for because I wanted to know more about reaction videos than how to set up the equipment or good apps to use. I wanted to know how to do it effectively, and this video was great for that! I also think that people could do reaction videos to lots of thing and just have it as part of their regular videos, too - maybe it doesn't have to be the whole video and maybe not the entire channel. We're just learning to be critical thinkers and to see an angle on something and good at presenting an opinion in an appealing way. So, any content creator could use this to spice up their content and create interest. You could react to a trend, a product, a person, etc. And I've heard you can do a reaction to a reaction - such as a reaction video to someone, who then reacts back to you with another video about your reaction. All in the spirit of interesting content and generating interest. Is it true that reaction videos help content creators share audiences, too? (you talk a little about this in your video) - I bet it is teaching the YT algorithm too. Thanks so much - I took notes!

Hi Alston - in regards to your video - when you react to other people videos + using their thumbnails - can you get into trouble with creators for that? I assume you have to ask each of them for permission to use thumbnail and the video? I'll really appreciate your reply
Congratulations on 50 thousand subscribers. I have a question a little off topic, I watched your video with a similar answer, but I still have questions, your video was about making tiktok compilations and this kind of video does not make sense because monetization will be taken away or not even included in this program + you will get strikes very quickly and there will be no channel. I've read the Community Guidelines and the AdSense Rules and I still don't understand how it works. More specifically, I'm talking about meme channels, there are hundreds of them, they use content that is not their own, in most cases they do not reacting to it and do not receive strikes in large quantities.
I have no idea how they exist because they literally do everything that you're not allowed to do and at the same time not only exist, but also receive monetization (I think so).
I think so for several reasons, most of them do not show ads, do not have a link in the comments and do not advertise anything other than their discord and now I have run out of all monetization options except direct from CZcams. Videos are released regularly and most importantly they are fresh, it's too much work for something that does not bring money.
These were my guesses above, but I am sure of one thing, that these channels do not receive strikes, because they have been around for a long time.
If you have any thoughts on this, I would be glad to hear them. I will summarize the main questions below.
Are such channels connected to the CZcams affiliate program?
Why are they not blocked if the probability of getting a strike is incredibly high and they have been operating for at least more than a year?
Can someone explain the copyright stuff? Like do I need to chop up the clip or cut the ending off? What does he mean by changing the content a little bit?

Time is the key. Also do NOT mix up styles of videos on the channel. My reaction videos were really starting to take off but I am traveling in Ukraine so I started doing travel vlog style videos and the views and comments and subs JUST DIED for the whole channel! Now I am playing catch up again trying to get the reaction vids going (AGAIN).

Why do you say I need to be on screen doing a live commentary? Why can't I feature a picture of me and typed commentary or criritque as I play the original video segment by segment and comment on it that way?

What if your niche is either reacting to classic music videos and/or classic movie trailers? Can that be a good enough niche? Or would I need to find something better?
do a lot of research on the content you wanna react to and then come up with an idea how you can do it better - are you gonna have better story telling techniques or perhaps nicer backgrounds or quality of upload? or can you upload everyday (more than competitors). I'm doing my research every week and I see small improvements

So wait, are you downloading the video from CZcams? If so, then do you have to pay a monthly CZcams subscription to download videos? That’s the option I got when I tried downloading a video of my choice. Please advise. Thanks
There’s lots of websites that download CZcams video, you just search on your browser for one, then copy & paste the video url into the downloader website and choose the format and quality you want and where to save on your computer.

What software does everyone use? I’m trying to get one started and having no luck……OBS doesn’t show the video part it’s just a black screen, on a PC not sure where to download tv shows or movies. Can anyone help where to start?!?! It’s so frustrating not knowing where to start or what to do
Seems like you don't have OBS configured correctly. I use Screenflow but it is Mac only

It's so stupid simple, I thought it was illegal... Then I realised, this is what Mr. Beast, Markiplier, and Pewdiepie did to get their name out there. Nobody would know who they are without this growing their viewers. It's dumb, but the results cannot be argued... I need to do this to grow my channel, and then I will have the audience to bring to my unique creations I've been trying to do for years and years...

If you know video editing, then you will understand his direction. Which was very helpful. As for as video editing, that's many other videos to look up/research
Screen record what your reacting to. And record yourself separately with a camera. Upload both videos on to your editing software. And resize the videos as you over lap them on the editing track. I use Adobe Pro. "How to resize video in Adobe Premier" on CZcams. Hope that helps.

I don’t think you understand how far use works. You must improve the video in some way. You can’t just download it and reupload it
@@AlstonGodbolt the improvements that are made to most videos is very little and do not improve them in most cases. Also, why are these people not able to make something on their own? It's just a scam deal. Most people see it as stolen content.
