Ivan Mendez, the guitarist, said in a video that all this is impromptu, he comes to her house and is welcomed as a family friend. And then after a while, they discuss the choice of the song, search on the web the lyrics and the guitar chords. Practice a little. Then she sing. One take in general. If two, he is kind enough to say that it is usually his mistake. All this is very raw. She sings with emotion while occasionally looking to her left to read the lyrics of the song. Although all of Angelina's performances are amazing, for me, this is one of those times where a magical moment is caught for us to enjoy forever.
This is one of my all-time favorites. FYI, she got that magic Neumann mike in April of 2018, when she was 12. And Ivan Mandez worked with Angie after she moved to Los Angeles later that year.

I'm sitting in my hotel room in Portsmouth, NH, tonight and listening to some "old" Angelina classics before hearing her live for the first time tomorrow night. She grew up so fast, but I suppose it seems that way about any youngster you care about. As long as YT doesn't go up in a puff of smoke, we'll always be able to revisit what was - even as we enjoy everything that is ,and excitedly anticipate what will be. I am a medical student. In my super busy schedule, I made a routine to listen to her songs everyday. Its very very refreshing. She has become my number one favorite singer now. Her voice, attitude, outfit, personality, beauty...everything is incomparable. I am in trouble finding appropriate words to describe her. Her name Angelina really suits her....she is truly an angel. and I am sure she will be one of the greatest legendary artist in the history of music....

I came to discover Angelina's beautiful, angelic voice after my dad lost his battle with cancer last year and I came from England to Texas to say goodbye to him. In his last year alive he had come to be an avid fan of Angelina and, shortly after his death, my family and I spent hours watching all the videos of Angelina singing that he so adored. Her beautiful voice was a light in his last days on earth and I am so grateful to her for that. Angelina, you are the most moving, most brilliant singer of the century and that's a fact. ❤️

Both are AWESOME. She has The Voice of an Angel which seemingly has no boundaries, and Angelina the Person possesses a pure, sweet, innocent, loving, caring, and joyful personality. How is it possible for a 12 year old to sing with the depth of emotion of a person who has lived with the pain and anguish she is so vividly portraying in this video? I honeslty feel like crying... or hugging her and telling her it'll be ok. I mean, just watch the guitarist... several times you can see the emotional impact wash over him. To call Angelina special, is to call water, wet. There are not enough superlatives to accurately describe her abilities and connection of self. Humble. Wholesome. Confident. Able.

To say she's better than Adele is something that i believe is subjective or a matter of taste. I love them both for their talents and differences. Adele has a stronger voice, but that comes with age and experience and Angelina will get there very soon. Angelica's soft rasp combined with the ability to easily sing different styles at such a young age will be exciting to see her her reach stardom. It will come.
