She’s innocent, most women back then married for material gain rather than for love, John & Abigail were an exception since they’re not necessarily “part of society” same for Arthur/Mary, Sadie/Jake.
"Oh, that husband of mine. That bureau just won't get its talons out of him, even though he is retired." It's darkly funny in a sense because that's exactly what Ross did to John, not getting his talons off him, even though he is retired. And like John, Ross disappeared from the public eye to avoid his violent past dragging him back, but got dragged back regardless.
People say that the wife and brother don't deserve it, and they really don't, but letting them live will only make it easier for people to find Jack after Ross' death. Better to cut all loose ends. After all this madness the Marston's went through, this is how Jack could move on for good.
I think Jack went to Mexico to draft dodge WW1, since he could possibly be a fugitive, but I’m sure after the war things cooled down enough for him to settle down and write his book, the one we see in GTA V.
@@ultraviolet540 Jack would still be young enough to fight in WW2 so it's not like him avoiding the first one changes much. And Red Dead Redemption and GTA are not in the same universe, that book is just an easter egg.
I never knew so many players chose to kill his wife. Lol, canonically Jack would never do such a thing, even if it means that he be traced back to the murder. Even Arthur wouldn't have done that.
Hi ash I have been watching your videos for several months and have gotten on my account and subscribed to you I’m a huge fan of rdr series keep up the great content
Where's your justification for this? When do we ever see Jack take a moral hardline one way or the other? What we know for sure about the man was that he was a very angry and confused kid while John was still alive. It's also a scientific fact that children who witness or are exposed to violence from a young age have a greater capacity for violence as adults. Canonically speaking there's no reason to think he wouldn't. He was exposed to the worst kinds of violence this world has to offer at a very young age and had his entire family taken from him by Ross. To suggest he'd kill Ross' family in return isn't unreasonable
@@patricbateman7457 because that’s how the story goes and how it’s meant to be, thus meaning this is how rockstar wanted to write Jack vs giving the player the freedom to impose their own influence on the story. That’s literally what it comes down to. Plus Jack wasn’t raised this way. Even though he was exposed to violence and violent people, Jack was taught to do better and be better, only to lose everything he ever loves. I’d say he ends up being like a red Harlow type character, cold and quiet loner but not completely without his humanity.
@patricbateman7457 He was also taught not to act like that at a young age. Doesn't mean he %100 wouldn't do it, just that it would be idiotic too. Not saying this is what you're doing, I haven't read any other of your comments if you have any.
imo: If rockstar wanted no discussions about a potential Jack sequel. They could’ve designed this mission to make it start with Jack reading an old newspaper he saved saying where Edgar family is located then afterwards the mission continues like normal minus him speaking to that agent in Blackwater. That way you can kill Edgar and his family leaving nobody alive who can even offer the law enforcement even a detailed description of who was the likely the last person to see Edgar or his family alive.
Plus no witnesses to say Jack was looking for Ross. And she won't have to mourn her "sensitive" beloved 💩 husband. "All's fair in war...and I forget the rest!" ~Being Julia
Both games didn't make sense with their locations. Why would Ross have shack at the river where sheriff had in RDO and later John sent to infiltrate for Irishman? And why would Ross be in Mexico hunting? Why are Micah and Dutch on Mount Hagen? Rockstar could've done with making them in locations that are far away and only able to travel there by steamboat. At least Ubi pulled in AC Rogue with Shay going in France to assassinate the guy.
RDO is ten years prior to RDR1. Dutch and Micah are on Mt Hagen because they’re wanted criminals and getting to that height would be a difficult task. And for Ross hunting, that’s what people do. I assume you aren’t American so I don’t blame you for not knowing culture but during this time period many people lived in poverty and couldn’t afford to travel far.
Because Rockstar prefers giving the illusion of true world building with fancy bells and whistles, AC will always do historical settings better hands down (except the trash new ones)
I bet same as another one reply, world in RDR and another R* game put perspective how large it is by lore wise and traversal by foot, there are vehicles and horse to force player using it 'cause part of the gameplay

I really doubt the next game will follow Jack considering red dead 1 takes place at the very tail end of the cowboy era. It removes any traces that would lead Ross Murder to him.
I think if she realised she lead her husbands murderer directly to him she’d wish she was dead from the guilt
