These new clip together winder trays are perfect for if you just want to carry a reduced amount of pole rigs around such as if you are going to do a day's pleasure fishing but I if i want to go somewhere where I'm doing a few days pole fishing then doing what matrix do and providing trays that carry more pole rigs might be better (just a thought guys)
I use the Green winders for paste but will also use them for natural venues
Blue for f1 maggot and f1 pellet
Red for shallow fishing
Great concept.
I had the old winder trays en I swapped them for Rive winders,, because of the better quality. I had some broken sliders and some of the orange winders were not straight.
The new winder trays look like a very nice product and if I'm nog mistaken they also improved the winders.

Really nice product, but please make the trays available separately. I already have trays filled with Des Shipp commercial Pole rigs and don’t want to buy winders I don’t need

Will 18cm winders fit across the 26cm tray?
No they won't interchange.
I always use the largest winder possible, even for shallow rigs, to minimise the number of bends in the line

Why have you changed the colour of the winders I have used red 18cm winders for years and have dozens of rigs tied up on them the 18cm are now blue and your old red winders won’t clip in to the new winder tray ?
We changed the colours so that they didn't become confused with our older winders. The previous range aren't compatible with the Inter-Lok trays
What a completely disappointing product this is. I recently enquired on this thread about empty winder tray being available, to fit my existing Des Shipp rigs to which I was told they were, but they are not. So I went out and bought four red winder tray complete with winders, expecting that the Des Shipp rigs would fit straight in, as it made sense that the red commercial rig winders, would fit the new red winder trays, but I was mistaken, they don’t the winder tray winders are much smaller and the Commercial rig winders don’t clip into the new trays. Thanks Preston I have always been very happy with my Preston products, but this time due complete inconsistency, I am not and have wasted £40 on your products which I don’t need and won’t be used.
Hi John. We do sell empty Mag-Lok trays which are compatible with the InterLok winder trays. However, the winders which are supplied with the pre-tied Des Shipp rigs are not compatible with the InterLok range. However, they are compatible with the double slider winder trays & boxes.
@@UKprestoninnovations Hi thank you for your reply and usually I appreciate the quality and design of Preston products, in fact almost all of my kit is from Preston’s range, from pole, through line to seat box. But this time in my opinion this is a fail, if only somebody in design had thought of following the same colour codes and made it compatible with the existing double slider winders, it would had been perfect, for anyone who likes to keep their kit organised and having the option to keep and swap different rig sets for differing venues and conditions. While you do offer trays with a central divider to keep rigs in, it is not the same as this product, as it is really a seat box layer with drawer, without clips to hold the rigs in place. From Des’s promotion of this product, he suggests he is going to swap all his rigs to these trays and despite the respect I have for his excellent knowledge and presentation, I suspect he will reconsider when he faces having to re-tie all of his rigs
