I was at the exact location 4 years ago and witnessed a giant section of cliff face break away, no way would i be close to that edge.
We used to do this with a rope tied around the front bumper bar on a BJ42 SWB LandCruiser at Point Perpendicular In Jervis Bay.....don’t tell my mum though, she would never have let dad take us 🤣
The old man even made up a fishing reel out of an old motorbike wheel with around 1.5k’s worth of fishing line that we used to cast out and over the side of the sheer vertical wall.
It was CRAZY !

As much as I like the adventures that these guys have given us to view over the years.
What Jase just did was absolutely nuts, he risked his life over a pair of sunglasses, he seriously needs to have a good think about what is important to him.
His priorities should be himself and his family and to make sure that when he goes out on these adventures that he comes home safe at the journies end.

I thought he said he had 3 levels of safety? I know he wasn't in a harness but he took a measured risk to go down for a closer look at the blow hole, which it sounded to me like he was going to do regardless of whether he dropped his sunglasses or not. If everything they did was 100% safe, they wouldn't have the same show. I'm assuming you haven't seen the video where they take an old 4x4 they modified to float, and take it across a croc-infested river? It may look ridiculous to you, but I'm sure they know what is most important to them and are being more cautious than you are choosing to see in the video.

How bad does your 79 crab? I bet you can see 4 wheel tracks when you drive in a straight line on the beach, some are worse than others but the majority are terrible! Every time i see one on the freeway i get behind it and most you can see the whole side of it it is they are so badly twisted, Toyota should be sued for selling a vehicle so badly built!
