Be Partners - Ultimate Mix - Saw VI / Spiral / He Helped Me (Saw Fan-Film) - COVER & SOUNDTRACK MIX

- So, here is my in depth analysis of this beauty of a track I spent a non stop three hours making.
When Spiral (2021) released, alongside the original score soundtrack a week later, my very first listen to Be Partners (probably my favourite non-Zepp theme of all time) I instantly fell in love with it! I have been waiting YEARS for someone, cough Charlie Clouser cough to make a brand new rendition of the Amanda's Letter segment in the Saw VI score, Severed Hand (both mixes to be precise). That being said, the original score release I felt was way too short! The film version of it includes just under two additional minutes of looped stems from Charlie's library, plus some more Severed Hand cues (which I replicated almost perfectly at 9:17-9:38 in this Ultimate Mix).
Anyways, back to the release of Be Partners and Spiral: From The Book Of SAW! Again, stating the fact the original release I felt to be too short, I vowed to eventually make a super in depth and amazing mix of my own one day, I made a makeshift and subpar extended mix, which I actually like to this day, but I felt that it can be WAY better than what it is. You know it as, 'Be Partners - Extended Mix' where I just looped some of the original Be Partners and Severed Hand from Saw VI and that was pretty much it, still decent to this day, but this new mix completely destroys it!
Over the last year (almost), I just couldn't find the time nor idea to make a super balanced mix like the one you're probably listening to right now! Although I couldn't do it alone, I definitely needed some help with it!
As you can probably tell, I have the bare piano cues in this mix, although, they aren't from Charlie Clouser at all, they are covered by the amazing composer and my very good friend, Kevin Kerr! He was responsible for scoring a HUGE variety of tracks in the Saw Fan-Film, He Helped Me! (I'll have links at the bottom of this short story, I promise!)
That being said, I did all the mixing for the He Helped Me score and had my own input on some of the tracks/customs/covers for this ultimate mix and the He Helped Me score too!
Regarding the bare cues and Kevin Kerr, upon completion of his scoring for He Helped Me, I specifically asked him to send me the stems. Stems are each individual lines/segments of cues, sometimes looped, or sometimes one-shot cues in its separated instrument form, so pretty much super bare and isolated cues from said instrument.
So, as you can tell, this mix starts off with the barest of bare cues, then gradually works it's way up to a climax, much like the original Be Partners track does, although this one has a LOT more rising tension in it as compared to the OG track!
Anyways, I really hope you enjoy this Be Partners Ultimate Mix! It was super fun to work on, and I really do love this!

Yes, there will be more ultimate mixes with my own & Kevin's own custom compositions added that I've personally mixed! And thanks! Although I find myself to be very competent mixer, Charlie will always have the top spot! The Spiral Complete Score (film-rip) will be coming out around the end of May or early June so stay tuned for that!
