I love that even a 79 year old Cronenberg can still shake up the squares better than anyone else.
U
.
Uu
..y..
squares? LOL You're still wet behind the ears...
I 'm a tasty square
👍🏽
so true!
Here's the synopsis, for those wondering:
A deep dive into the not-so-distant future in which humankind is learning to adapt to its synthetic surroundings. This evolution moves humans beyond their natural state and into a metamorphosis, which alters their biological makeup. While some embrace the limitless potential of trans-humanism, others attempt to police it. Either way, Accelerated Evolution Syndrome, is spreading fast. Saul Tenser is a beloved performance artist who has embraced this new state, sprouting new and unexpected organs in his body. Along with his partner Caprice, Tenser has turned the removal of these organs into a spectacle for his loyal followers to marvel at in real time theater. But with both the government and a strange subculture taking note, Tenser is forced to consider what would be his most shocking performance of all.
Thank you for giving me a summary. That visual hodge podge told me nothing.
Thanks sounds very interesting
@brandovlogs imo, the best kind of trailers provide enough information to intrigue, but not enough to predict. Random sequences stitched together don't necessarily intrigue me, but everyone's different
Oh thanks, I hate it. 🤣
@@the20thDoctor this is why most "Art" movies failed lmao
David Cronenberg refuses to get old.
Long live the new flesh!
Seriously, if he wasn't a bit too old for it and if he wouldn't already have a son who's following in his footsteps (and hopefully developing an own unique style) and a daughter who's also working as an artist (photographer etc), I'd say he should get children :) Or get cloned. But we all know how wrong that would go.
Cronenberg gonna come back with the "what the fuck was that" film of 2022, i'm here for it
Definitely has that feel-good romantic comedy vibe going for it. Let's see if audiences want something a little more edgy and avant-garde.
@Gregor Collins shut up
LMAO
The king of body horror is back, and he hasn't missed a stride.
It uhhh appears so! Have only seen A History of Violence and Eastern Promises but I love horror and have been to watch The Fly since I was a kid, as well as Cronenbergs other films. Sheesh, where should I start?
It's not mere body horror... it's the NEW FLESH!!!!
Yep !!!! PURE Cronenberg :)
"Pure Cronenberg" was Stereo.
@@scottyjbd The Brood & Videodrome
I'll wait for this to stream on Disney+.
😂
Vigo Mortensen is so selective about his movies & that leads me to be more then executed for this movie, plus Kristin Stuart is a phenomenal
Please don't execute yourself over this movie!
loll your auto-correct needs work
More than executed? What did you do?
not executed! LOL
"More than executed"? Wow, you are the film fan Cronenberg's always wanted!
Fun for the whole family.
🤣
Depends. The Addams family? Maybe
If your son's Brandon Cronenberg! 🤣
This film was better than expected and had a poetic quality.
It's good that Hollywood finally stopped making Kristen Stewart play the same character in every movie like they did earlier in her career.
What’s the name of the upbeat music in the background?
This looks absolutely bonkers. Wtf are those Skelton cartilage seats…
Also. His films are somewhat mindbending. Cosmopolis is underrated. Videodrome is pure creepy. The fly is classic horror. Watched dead ringers during a very dark period of my life and it was honestly just nightmarish as possible
ExistenZ, Scanners , Crash, The Dead Zone(his adaption of Stephen King story) all so good too🥰🎥
@@leachjason111 this Looks like Existenz Part 2 or Prequel
Be sure to also check out The Brood :)
What about "Naked lunch"? Your "skelton cartilage seat" comment made me think about that utterly creepy and disturbing rape scence (think it was with Julian Sands)! 😅
@@Daniel-lq5qq yup plus other self homages...easter eggs for fans...T.v. sayin Body is Reality is Videodromesque..operations(Dead Ringers)
People.gettin turned on by.watching people adapt/mutilate their bodies...(similar to Crash )theme....Main characters body changing...evolving unexpectedly similar to the Fly😃---all deduced frm trailer...
I think i know of another movie reference but.wont say cuZ could be considered a spoiler
Yes, love a trailer that doesn’t spoil much :D
The teaser one showed less...this one seems to tease too..as in..I need to see what all this is about😀🥰🎥
Vigo totally reminds me of Rutger Hauer's 'Roy Batty' in Blade Runner!
Kristen Stewart & Lea Seydoux. Nice combination
And I'm so glad everybody discovered the term "body horror" since his last film! Now everybody can mention it at least once about his latest one! Or twice! Body horror!
Yeah, buckle up.
Lol
The other night I just finished re-watching Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol with Lea Sedoux in it, and last night I sat and enjoyed some 27 minutes of deleted scenes from the first Twilight movie, and here is this trailer with both Kristen and Lea in it. Bring it on.
27 minutes of deleted scenes from Twilight? Jeez man.
@@rocker4577 Greetings! Well, why not. I really liked the book.
Oh dear God, I have to see this! Cronenberg returns to his origins, BRAVO!!!
I could watch this movie 3 times and find three completely different meanings. That's what Cronenberg does and he throws in plenty of bio-horror too.
Well, well, well! Long live the new flesh, baby! Hell yeah! I hope this gets a Blu-Ray release!
Def will...even better...4k Unrated😀
Why wouldn’t it?
i couldn't finish the trailer.
My two female crushes in one movie.
I'm watching it.
0:15 This is the same music they used in the 2002 movie Irreversible. That head-crushing scene with the fire extinguisher is so haunting.
Fuck yeah it is. That is still one of my top 5 favorite films. The idea of a happy ending but its actually the beginning. so you know where the characters are headed so is it really a happy ending? was a real cool concept to play around with.
My Cronenbussy is quivering for the first time in 7 years.
lol
Just had to go and say it.
So glad he didn't retire after Maps To The Stars.
This trailer makes me think of Consumed, the novel he wrote some years ago.
Can't wait to see this.
To me, Cinema with a capital C will die with Cronenberg's generation. Everything made after that is Compromise.
These directors used to read books. And write.
Filmmakers today watch movies. And twit. And it shows.
It is the cinema of the past. It is a dead art form. 💀🪦⚰⚱🌷
@@oblomurg maybe not dead dead, but smelling funny. Cronenberg, who is much less conservative than me, agreed with you in more than one interview. Still, I'd rather re-watch his worst movie than any recent Netflix production any time of the week.
@@MaximTendu Arthouse as I know it is an artistic suicide move in the present sociopolitical climate. Not even Cronenberg or Lynch would dare transgress against emanating control structures. I am not expecting much from this film but it definitely should be at a different quality level than average entertainment. 🤔🤨🙈⚰⚱
Looks exciting with known starts acting. Kristen Stewart is gorgeous.
bruh, she is not gorgeous. she looks like a chipmunk.
KS gorgeous? I prefer wild venomous snakes, they're sexy..
If Viggo mortensen is in this film, I'm watching it. Finis.
Well it looks like David Cronenberg is finally back! Woohoo! I can’t wait!
Feels like existenze mixed with videodrome. Love cronenberg, the king of body horror!!!
The fucking fly, phenomenally made movie.
Creepy Cronenberg has returned!
I'd better steer myself for just how gloriously twisted this dystopian will be...
Music in the background amazing
"I expect walk-outs, faintings and panic attacks."- David Cronenberg
As it should be for Mr. Cronenberg’s style. Will watch this day 1 no doubt
He didn’t say that himself
that was someone at an advance screening
@@user-vt4rh9kf8d well in that case whoever said it I'm still exited as hell
Hahahahaha
I won’t be able to sit through this but the actors look talented
OMG LEA AND KRISTEN AHHHH
Great teaser! Cronenberg is back! :D
It's been 23 years since he made eXistenZ.
That literally just dawned on me about a week ago. And still I've only met two other people besides a few of my friends that have ever seen it . Sad
Omg, love the music.
Read somewhere the last 16 minutes will see audiences walking out the movie hall. This movie is creating a buzz.
You had me with that soundtrack. I’m in.
It sounds like the music from Irreversible. 0:15 to 0:30
Iii89oooook
RDesign 7
Sounds similar to son Brandon's Possessor...but this looks gloriously more crazy🥰🎥
AMAZING!!!!!!❤
In this documentary, Aragorn opens up about his kink and explores its many layered levels
First thought : WTF ??
Second thought : MUST SEE !!!
Someone ought to give Cronenburg a decent budget.
kristen Stewart acting is weird and fantastic in this movie, if this is mainstream movie, she definitely get nominated to some awards
I don't understand the early summer release? Surely this is a Christmas hit!
All hail CRONENBERG!!!!!!!!
3rd time watching and I’m just as excited
Oh hell yes. I'm gonna watch the HELL out of this one. Looks friggin' awesome!
You are sick. Please get some help!
going to watch for Léa 💕
I have never been this confused about a movie trailer

Beautiful.
I am very excited for this film. I get a Gaspar Noe vibe a bit from trailer.
Are you in discomfort?
Yes I am, please continue!
Kristen Stewart and Lea Seydoux ♥️♥️
Here for VIGGO..
This Repo! The Genetic Opera remake looks incredible.
With friends at Voicely, can't wait for the release of the film.
Yes, yes, yes, and yes
Does anyone know what Trancy/techno-y song plays around the 0:44 mark? Anyone?
Klinek-Howard Shore
damn.. this looks LIT 👊
I’d hate to ever get a glimpse of Cronenberg’s basement.
W cast. cant wait
Cronenberg + Kristen Stewart = Good or bad I got see this!
If it has kristen on it then it's worth the watch
Totally
Hell yeah gives me eXistenZ vibes

"Boy, Morty, I really Cronenberged the world up, didn't I?
You've got a whole planet of Cronenbergs walking around
down there, Morty."
Yeah I'm gonna see that
Imagine Cronenberg directs next MCU Fantastic Four. lol
some futuristic 80s "Blade Runner" type movie.
I'm so fkn excited
Cool
The artdesign of the biotechnology heavily resembles the movie eXistenZ, this could be in the same universe. Also love the score!
The neon demon music vibe im on board take my money
what's its name?👀
🔥🔥🔥what he said .
@@MC_1993 ?who's the composer
I've just gone through a 3 year pandemic and this is not the kind of film I'd like to watch right now😑
Cronenberg still going strong 💪
We live in the Cronenbergian world, Morty.
viggo 🇦🇷 y kristen❤️❤️❤️❤️
Is this a documentary? Klaus Schwab from the WEF would be salivating
Quiero verla, verla ya...

sick director making sick films
0:27 *Jordi Savall* xD
Dissonant chords! Dystopian future! Unintentionally Brazil vibes? Accidentally camp classic?
David knows 3xctly what he’s doing
His "Videodrome" meets last year' s Palme d' Or french film "Titane" meets his "Crash"...
Yes
Damn it sounds like David Cronenberg did bring twilight stars in his movies
I knew this had to be a Cronenberg film.
no wonder people were saying david lynch will have something new out at the cannes festival
Wow- I can barely recognize Scott Speedman 😳
WoW.
cool
