Yes, it's only nightmare, but it's deathless so I'll go with the fake clickbait title. Deathless first playthrough is better anyways, as a second playthrough would be trivial, because this was quite easy to begin with.

You have so much BFG and hammer charges that everything is very simple. Only close moment I had was in the final boss fight. The final boss is very straightforward since the only long range attack he has is pathetic, so you can heal up easily by just running around the arena. You can also use meathook and dash above him to buy yourself time. The extra demons spawned in the last phase should be dealt with by using the hammer instead of the BFG.
Might do a UNM playthrough some time without HUD or something, not that it'll be any more difficult.

@@milkycannon444 Yup, not too bad. I died a fair bit, but none of the required sections really gave me trouble. Final boss fight was the longest for sure, but it felt well designed and pretty fair. Samur phase 5 spirits was way more of a PITA, you just have to go ham on DPS and pray to the RNG gods.

I get that sentiment when it's people watching people play games just for the sake of watching them play and pretending to be their friend; it's weird and childish. But that's nothing like watching a professional competitor put on a masterclass, like Zero Master.

I would love to know the macro or keybind setup here... I am nowhere near this quick lol I play nightmare but have to try every encounter basically more than once. It's mostly because I use the Q wheel to change weapons...

I hated him the first time I beat him. But when doing UN runs his hit box is very wierd I've noticed. Also hate how you can't freeze the spectral demons like in the rest of the game

I know this isn't meant to be a speed run but Frosty beat the game in under an hour on UN. Just saying.
Full circle completed. That corrax entry and slayer mark is the first and the last thing we see through protagonists eyes.
And now he's laying dormant in hes sarcophagus, silently waiting for the next time Hell brakes lose and The Slayer is needed again to remind THEM that the only thing they fear is HIM.
I think the sequel will have the intern somehow free him with a small army and then the slayer will go after the father for throwing him in another sarcophagus

@@bigspoon1338 Actually, according to the lore found in this DLC, apparently the Divinity Machine was imbued with the piece of the Dark Lord's power, which was why Sentinel warriors died when they were exposed to it - they simply couldn't take it.
It was a long con on the Dark Lord's part - he was hoping that eventually, someone would become imbued with this power so they can exact his revenge on the Makyrs. Something Samur Makyr actually helped happen by exposing the Slayer to it.
And since the power belonged to the Dark Lord from the start, I can only guess that his death made the Slayer lose that power and it left him weakened, which is why he fainted. Still don't get why he was entombed again though, it feels like a huge slap in the face after everything he went through...

@@SeriousGranade Small correction: it wasn't necessarily that the other Sentinels couldn't take it. The design was such that anyone, even the Slayer, put in on the default settings would come out insane and near death. Samur had to "reverse the polarity" of the machine in order to make it actually _imbue_ someone with power.

Considering that the Dark Lord is apparently GOD, the same question applies to good folks.
Maybe it's the case that, regardless of good or bad, all the folks just get tossed in the ol' ring of fire. Considering that Davoth is *God* , it'd make sense that Urdak only ever got energy from Earth during Hells invasion's. Urdak just essentially being a poser Heaven, one that was never a place anyone good goes, just a shelter from Hell's influence.

Yeaaah I'm still on hurt me plenty. I played 2016 on uv my first time and eventually was able to do nm but I have a muuuch harder time controlling the field in eternal. I tried uv and was just in constant panic.
@@alexbeadventuring4633 Takes practice as all. I started on I'm too young to die and now play UV regularly, planning on working my way up to nightmare. One thing that definitely helps control the arenas was probably the air mobility rune and the speed boost upon glory kill rune (forgot what it was called)

Yeah no doubt. The final boss in TAG 1 took me a few tries and can still trip me up from time to time. The final boss in TAG 2 I lost 1 extra life. Its was great though, i love the new demons. Wish they could be in the main game.

I think the hammer is nice, but you've got so many tools (BFG as well) that already deals with everything so it doens't get used very often... maybe I'll find the dlc even better with double speed :)

@@ZeroMaster Anyways, love the content you do. You are incredibly talented. The soundtrack for this DLC is an absolute banger. My favourite level is unironically Immora, then World Spear then Reclaimed Earth (not saying Reclaimed Earth is bad). I got the DLC done in roughly 3 hours on Nightmare with no deaths (kinda like you did) and I am on console. Love the new crooshair thing as well. Keep makig Pog content my dude! :)

1:39:08 really sums up what's wrong with this boss fight, not only is most of it waiting around doging attacks that do so little damage anyway. When the dark lord does the green attack sometimes it just gives him health back anyway instead of stunning him...

Wow, you really made that first major arena of Reclaimed Earth (with the 2 Tyrants and 2 Barons) look so easy.
I always get stuck on that fight and the escalation encounter for some reason. And I'm a regular Nightmare player! I beat TAG1 and the master SGN classic mode on Nightmare!
TAG2 could use some buffing in certain encounters for sure, but I still feel plenty challenged by it overall.
Oh, and thanks for showing how powerful the Destroyer Blade is 👌
If you think using that thing guarantees your death, then you just suck at finding openings to use it, haha. (Same for Full Auto and Microwave Beam.)

Hey zero i know u dont need this but using the hammer on enemies on fire gives more armor and on frozen gives more health and u can re use the hammer after 2 glory kills or hitting 2 weaks points and also hammer stuns enemies

Its surprising to see how much good players are stuck in their awesome gameplay and won't rely on simple tactic for the last boss. While yes, as a below average player the boss was really hard for me, when it came to attack it while he was stunned, I've found that there was no need to use the double shotgun/ballista switch, just getting close and unleashing the chaingun in turret mode or even the combat shotgun in auto mode did a better job. I guess its hard to lose those high skill reflexes gained fighting all those marauders against what is basically a bigger marauder with thankfully no surrounding enemies to trigger that pesky wolf.
Definitely one of the BEST runs I've seen.
Even during my prime as a gamer I couldn't do this XD. You are insane dude!! :D

On the earth map it looks as if hundreds of years have passed since the hells invasion.
It seems you forgot you can glory kill the zombies to recharge the hammer. Just take 2 little pop shots at their feet with the rifle while running around and you have a full hammer in 2 kills. Makes wiping out the big spawns much easier.
yeah I wasn't sure how glory kills refilled the hammer, would have made the fight much easier.
