I believe they do reruns after a set amount of time. It's income for them and there are probably people who are new to Abode who will watch for first time.

Why paint hardwood floors???
It's a cottage-thing from Sarah's childhood cottages -- they always had painted floors.
Sarah doesn't hold wood to be too sacred to paint. At all. Paneling, ceilings, floors, wainscot, trim, all of it --fair game for Richardson!

I agree it's cold but don't kill yourself! Get an area rug! LOL. My guess is the designers were working with a significant budget.
Don't have to kill myself, as my bedroom would never look like that! 🤣🤣🤣First thing I did when I moved into my current apartment was to paint my walls a beautiful shade of lavender. I have gorgeous handmade and vintage things from all over the world on the walls and on my vanity and dresser surfaces. And don't need to get an area rug - I'm a weaver and spinner, so I've made my own! 😀 It always amazes me that these people who hire designers never seem to have collected any beautiful objects in their travels or in their lives.
