I know the original had these vibrant and clayish graphics. But cpi has a not very vibrant look.
The Club Penguin developer team is so amazing and heartbreaking for their efforts of making such a wonderful ending for their last days of the game. It makes me want to play the game.

I remember learning about this game during 2013 when I was 12, ever since my little sister was introduced to it. Eventually though, I started playing more than my little sister did, almost on a weekly basis until sometime in 2015, when schoolwork became busier. I actually used it to play those games back then (I havenât really thought much about the social aspect back then), but I enjoyed a lot out of it, especially those PSA missions and the Dojo.
One day I was thinking of entering Club Penguin once again to see how it was going, only to learn that the game had already shut down. I didnât even get to say goodbyeâŠ
I lowkey played club penguin religiously when it was still around
But like I was obsessed with it

I remember those days when I would hop on Club Penguin during the Holiday Party, I would love seeing penguins being nice to each other on the island. The Club Penguin Christmas Music was amazing and it made me feel so good, i would do all the christmas quests and hop on a big sled where you can drop presents into houses. I would go to my igloo later and spend all my coins on chirstmas decorations and decorate my igloo and submit it into the igloo contest hoping to win. After that, i would go and play more card jitsu.

The thing that made club penguin great was all of the secrets, i mean as a kid knowing about secret keys and missions, and pins, i felt sooo cool, just the vibe the original gave off was what made it great

@@noahfan2719 I play it but I haven't thought about that. I've got a feeling the team will convert the game to another engine. They've put so much effort in the game and I don't think they'd let it die. Also, other popular flash games (like Happy Wheels) are being converted to other engines. I think the game will be fine personally.

It's sad because the stuff included in the CPI Waddle On Party could've been introduced during the lifespan of CPI, but was only introduced for it's shutting down. They could've made this game survive longer if it wasn't for Disney's corporate greed.

as a person born in the early 2000s, club penguin was such a defining part of my childhood. me and my friends would play for hours after school to collect rare items, go on adventures whenever they had things like the medival fair etc, and in general, it was such a unique part of my childhood. my penguin turns 11 years old this august. thank u CP for making my childhood magical :)

Iâm not going to lie, I got very teary watching you talk about the end of it, how they wanted to make it be like how it used to be in the original. I remember being a child and wanting a puffle in real life, so I made one out of paper in primary school. It was such a big influence to me as a child and I feel sad it is gone, wish I had bought the DS games and plushies just to show my children. Thank you for a wonderful sendoff, and a even bigger thank you to the team who created club penguin.

This video actually made me realize that club penguin island wasnât some shitty money grabbing game they devs actually gave it love and work.... all in vain now :(
It kind of was a money grab but not on developers behalf because most of the other games such as Angry Birds, Clash of Clans, Fallout Shelter and other freemium games didn't offer a subcrition model except World of Tanks Blitz.
If they added Card-Jitsu I would have played that game forever. I loved Card-Jitsu if they added like sensei and a newer version of the game that would be amazing.
This series was a relatively small but VERY memorable part of my early childhood,waddle on forever!âĄâĄ

I saw a different video talking about how its shuting down and I never knew that it shut down until that video.. its really sad because I played that game in 2013-2015 and I loved it so much! I found out that there is club penguin rewritten and I was so happy that someone took there time to make a private server! I play club penguin rewritten a lot! Now when I saw that club penguin had a new game called club penguin island I was happy at first.. I downloaded the game and played it and when I did I thought "eww what is this?" Now I watched this video and I see that club penguin island had potential.. They where going to add puffuls (if that's how you spell it) and the dojo thing with the cards.. it's sad that both games had to leave.. we will all have good memories of club penguin.. You will live in are hearts... Thank you for making a fun game!

I never really thought about how much online kids games relied on minigames until I watched this and some Neopets videos. Even Poptropica had some mini-games, Coolmathgames was a little later than my childhood but people loved that for the games, but even then there were just websites that were filled with hundreds of single-player or local multiplayer flash games that my classmates and I would play. It is crazy to think how different kids games are now to kids growing up in the 2000's or even early 2010's.
The "Club Penguin Arcade" actually had games from the mobile spinoff that ran at the same time as the original Club Penguin, so they didn't actually go and remake every game! It was still a sweet touch. đ„°
I have walked past the Club Penguin Brighton office countless times because it's between by house and the high street, and I remember when it said Club Penguin on the door and that was the coolest thing. The building still exists, but I haven't linked it to Club Penguin in YEARS and now you finally made me nostalgic after all you Club Penguin videos.

I've been recommended your games about this stuff and have gone back to using my Subeta account - my adult-friendly Neopets - and it's still alive and kicking. I was a little too old for Club Penguin, so I remember it more in the context of my little sibling. I feel like any mobile game would be destined to go the Neopets route. I was trying to remember what year that flopped and apparently the answer is 2006, 2015, and a 2019 announcement that was also supposed to replace the site. The main Neopets site has a huge announcement about "going mobile" but apparently they only mean that they had never made a phone-friendly version of the site layout until now. Huh. Point is, Club Penguin's high hopes seem like management meddling.
