Encore is when a K-Pop idol/group wins the weekly Music Bank show, they would plan challenges before the announcing of the winner, such as reverse roles of each member (when bts did fake love encore), drinking ice cubes (twice), and more, while singing the song that they performed during the show!
yes but not just music bank, there are 6 weekly music shows if i'm not mistaken - mcountdown, inkigayo, music core, music bank, show champion and the show.

Thank you for this Sammy! I've been an ARMY for almost four years and I actually have never seen this extensive of an encore before. They are so effing funny it makes them all the more lovable. It's just another reason why they are who they are and they have ARMY by the multi-, multi-millions. Jimin's hug was with Taemin, considered the best K-pop idol dancer. He and Jimin are very dear friends. Taemin is with SHINee. He's a few years older than Jimin and supports him wholeheartedly. 💜

Just another reason to adore them....People see them being real. I honestly think, at least of their generation of Kpop, they are the most chaotic -- which means they aren't afraid to show their nerdy/fun/silly sides. Also, I think as they got more popular, and more revered, they were just allowed to be who they were, and that says quite a lot. I mean, no one is trying to stop them...

what you said about their inner chaoticness is found in basically every group and soloist haha and these encores are part of what you call music shows and most groups and soloists attend these if they can help the music shows have viewership and then win awards at the end from fan voting, physical and digital points depending on the music show criteria (mcountdown, inkigayo, music core, music bank, show champion and the show are the types). When you watch live performances, these music shows are where live performances and encores like these happen. (The encore is suppose to allow the winning artist to perform their winning song normally but most groups just do little challenges and act chaotic like BTS did in this video haha).
