I think the universe is trying to send me a message. For the past 2-3 months, I've gotten a "slow down," "quiet living," "go back to your roots," type of vibes and messages nearly daily. I'm starting to get a desire for the slow and simple "old fashioned" life. The universe is just beating upside the head with it now. On a SOAP video!? I thought I was safe! 🤣

In answer to your question of why lemongrass reminds you so much of bamboo, is because lemongrass and bamboo are from the same plant family (the grass family known as poaceae.) The soap looks so good I just love the pink and green together. I wish I had smell-o-vision because it has to smell amazing. Grapefruit and lemongrass who knew

Aesthetically this is one of my favorite soaps you've ever made
The comments unlocked a memory of when my sister was little and on holiday, she managed to get a hold on a whole grapefruit and used it as a stuffed toy to sleep with😂 It wasn't her first time getting a whole grapefruit, she just really liked it and it also really annoyed me so she just kept it. It did keep the mosquitoes away from her as well while my parents got eaten alive (I'm lucky that mosquitoes don't like me at all!)

This is gorgeous! I love the very clearly defined swirls. It looks like paisley. And grapefruit is my favorite fruit! As well as my favorite scent. I like to eat grapefruit as a cross section with a grapefruit spoon. My mom salts her grapefruit but I think that's so odd 😂
Caleb's edits were absolutely unhinged for this video and I love it. 😂 My bestie just had a baby shower today and the colors of this soap are the exact colors they used for decorations! They did a wildflower theme with pinks and green just like this soap. P.S. Happy early birthday! I hit 30 last year and when I say it's been a trip haha.

I love bright citrus scents but grapefruit.... it's my least favorite. I think it's because I'm allergic to it and I associate it with bad memories. Lemongrass.though, amazing. Love it.

Also grapefruits aren't really pillow size, and I imagine they would be pretty squodgy, get juice in your eyes as you sleep. I'd wash in the juice and then condition VERY well

You won't be sorry if you try it. For me it is a game changer. I don't use liquid shampoo or conditioner anymore because I don't like the way the liquid makes my hair feel.
