    Thanks for the headsup! and you are right - if it seems to good to be true it's most likely a scam

    I have offer for hidden NFT and it lets me accept that.Probably soon as i sign that offer my wallet will be empty

  • @AndrewPattersonProfessional

    Thanks for the warning. Why would OpenSea even allow NFTs that throw an error when you try to purchase? Seems like they could prevent them from being listed.

    Opensea needs to share more of these types of videos. I learned the hard way how not to get scammed now and I'm sure opensea also makes so much off the new people not knowing what they're doing

    Could you do some arbitrage on the OP network. Or using HOP. And bridge

    Imo-anything you didn’t know would be airdropped-generally with $0 anyway in most legit projects- touching this is like taking candy from the candy man in the white van outside the school grounds. You’re just getting in the van….

    Good practice could be to transfer own collection (in a bundle to minimize gas fees) to a newly generated wallet address. Rename the old to "junk"..and move on with the new one. This type of "housekeeping" every x month helps in getting rid of all the hidden junk being thrown at. Good luck and stay safe.!

      I thought about doing that..I just hate to have rogue NFT's anywhere in ANY of my wallets/addresses. there really should be a way for us to excise them OUT altogether. hard to imagine it's impossible for a dev/expert/team to create a way for us to *at least* send them to some kind of NFT universe black hole.😠

    hello. I'm an artist and I have several arts considered nft in addition to digital arts that I sell on an arts website. I recently created an Instagram with my portfolio and someone asked to buy my art, however, he asked me to list it on opensea for 6eth each. Obviously I found it strange because the value is very high. could you explain to me how this scam works?

    • @hansculpt_gh
      @hansculpt_gh Před 11 měsíci

      I experienced a similar encounter yesterday on fiverr. The person asked me to create an opensea account and list each of my artworks for 8ETH each for him to buy. Found it so strange after checking out on Google the worth of 1ETH converted in USD.

    Thanks for posting on the scam. Informed and saved me the temptation of falling for it. Bummer would of liked to get 1 ETH for mystery airdropped hidden nft that had no value to me.

    • @DiandraStarShine

      but then IF it was real & truly not a danger, it WOULD have value because it would be worth *at least* that 1 ETH.😄

      but if 1 ETH was really *not* a big deal to you? PLEASE send a whole coin's worth of it my way! because even in this bear market🐻I & my wallet would be SO happy to have it!, LoL!!😄🧚🏾‍♀

    You cant bid infinite offers, there is formula. Variables are amount of weth you have and cumulative amount of weth offer made.
