As I'm doing an all white build I like that it has a white back so that's a plus for me. Also anyone using a super-ultrawide should be using a monitor arm. That will add up to $400 to your setup but you can get a solid arm for just $120.

@@CarsPlz Those are sweet, that's the $400 option: HX Single Heavy Duty. I'm going with the $120 option: VIVO Premium Aluminum Heavy Duty Monitor Arm.
I'm cutting corners to keep my new PC build under $5K and that VIVO arm has been suggested by people on CZcams who are using these heavy 49" super ultrawides.
I'm going to have to look into that honestly! I have actually found that the basic stand isn't too abhorrent either though!@@RealStuntPanda

nice video! I'm in the market for the 49 ultrawide curved monitor and i can't decide what to get. Currently using macbook pro 2019 so ppi, resolution is a main concern for the 49 inchers. I mainly use for productivity and media consumption like youtube and netflix, no gaming at all. Would you say lg 49wq95c is a more ideal option than samsung odyssey neo g9?
Yes you absolutely should go for the LG, the Samsung is great but much more suited for gaming! The LG excels at productivity tasks!
