The thingy on the chest is called "cardiophylax" which the the Greek word for "heart protector". I m always impressed from the historic facts behind the design of the armor.

What I noticed about this hero is they were too lazy to make a male version but they made armor pieces which hides the female chest. The voice is the only thing you can't modify... 😆
And if it were male only?
@@Norgoz well... It's hard to imagine but you have black prior, for example, he is a male character but his skin is kinda awkward.
It kinda makes me wonder if in the future for honor will implement skin versions of gender lock heros...

Be cool if they start making the dlc characters gender swappable again, I like having the option to swap between them as and when the mood takes me

@@Norgoz I feel that yeah, I just hope she gets much more down the line, I feel like characters used to launch with much more armor, that being said her fashion as is, is top tier for me, can’t wait to play around with the colors and materials
You know what? That really looks better than i thought. When i saw her armorsets in the Ubisoft Livestream, i thought i was in the wrong movie. Now i‘m actually excited again.
I was in the same boat. The armors look so much better once you can tinker and customize them.

Other than her unique feats, what are her other options?
I can't address this until later. T1 has Speed Revive T3 o believe was protected revive T4 was Healing Banner. The others I don't remember offhand.
T1 Quick revive and body count
T2 Thick skin and thrilling comeback
T3 Punch through, protected revive
T4 regenerate, stalwart

How did you make the shield color black?
Most heroes who use shields can have patterns placed on their shield using the 'Left' section of the customization menu.
Just need a pattern that fits the look you're going for and uses the parts of the color wheel you want on the shield.
I love her fashion.

what are the feats and gear perks. I like to play support. quick revive, rising sun etc.
i cant recall all the feats and perks off the top of my head but the best perk loadout imo is going to be : feline agility, remedy, rising dawn
could swap out rising dawn or feline agility for radiant rebound though
as for feats she does have speed revive and protected revive so you can make the best revive build in the game
i also recall her having body count, regenerate, and stalwart banner
of course im not mentioning unique feats

She's running assist perks, so she'll have Rising Dawn. Chris posted the feats around here somewhere and I can confirm, aside from unique, are:
T1 - Body Count, Speed Revive
T2 - Thick Skin, Thrilling Comeback
T3 - Punch Through, Protected Revive
T4 - Regenerate, Stalwart (Healing) Banner
Unique Feats are:
T1 - Heals Nearby Allies on Superior Block (team only, not the Varangian)
T2 -15%(?) Damage Reduction Temp Passive after Superior Block
T3 - 15% Damage Bonus (confirmed) to Varangian and nearby allies on superior block
T4 - Basically Small range spear storm (40 Damage) that leaves a Doom Banner (the BP/Zerk T2) in it's wake.
I won't be able to get a video out on that until after launch.

I see a lot of people complaining about her armor and stuff but I actually think it blew my expectations out of the water her armor is amazing and I can’t wait to play as her
Hell yeah! Armor variations and how it matches up with the color swatch is PogChamp.
Mist have low expectations then. Armour variations are super boring to unlock

Bro.. Is it difficult to give the OPTION to play with the character in the male version? This is the second hero in a row that I've seen without this option, I don't mind the character coming as a default like this but it gives the option At least to change, there are people who don't like playing with female characters, not because they don't think they should be there, but because they don't identify with it, and generally when we're playing (I'm not generalizing), we want to identify with the character we're playing, so... That's all, I just think they should add the option to change it, I'm not going to stop playing because of it, just do the whole thing.
I get it for an RPG or a story game but do you really need to identify with a medieval warrior where all you do is attack people?
@@JohnDoe-hj9fh I know there are people who just want to beat each other and that's it, but if you've played the game you know that the characters' armor and appearances are almost the second main part of the game, so yes Sometimes people just want to make a character pretty and maybe be good at combat, it's no wonder people always post the appearance of characters like the warden
@@night-whit-yagi But the character is covered in armor? They'd look exactly the same whether they're a woman or a man though it's the same armor, so you can still do the dressing up and styling thing. They're completely covered the only way you can tell is the grunts they make and a small size difference

Sucks they’re still doing alternate armours instead of true armour variants. Wish the game had more support so we could get the quality back for customisation.
The first couple years were good. Unique ornaments up until season 3 and then we’ve just had forehead coins since. Hope they give it some lovin, it deserves it.
For Honor 2 when?
Instead of constantly bringing in new heroes that have things like gender lock and 3 armor sets that look almost identical, it would be really good to rework the old heroes. And by rework, I don't mean giving the Warden the same armor with a new texture, for example.
Helmets that show the face are best.
They are pretty good. I didn't expect to like them, but she's got sass.

If you have an issue with perks it's totally fine, but either give a heavy the heavy perks or rework all heavy perks
@luzy7959 Heavy perks do need to be removed or reworked; I agree. There is a reason perks are banned in competitive play and I believe the devs are making the conscience decision not to give her heavy perks as these perks are not healthy for the game in general. Last Stand is just one of them. Vengeful Barrier, Bastion etc all give an inherent advantage over other perks. Her base kit defense is already very powerful.
@@Norgoz they honestly should rework all perks at this point, most of them are useless or offer little to begin with, i think vengeful barrier would be less annoying if you don't get a full bar of shield after two revenge pops

I do not think They would make an entire character just for a collab but at least one armor with Kratos' painting for the Raider or the new hero

It's funny how many people are complaining about how this character is locked to a specific sex. I'm guessing they weren't complaining about all the videogame characters we've had for years where playing as a male was the only option lol. For honor is just a fighting game do y'all really need to identify with the character?

It's an interesting character, just like the other DLC heroes, its feature creep. After 10,000 hours in this game, i can safely say it genuinely isn't worth it given the developers scope, theyre too out of touch with the community to give us anything impactful.

Idk why everyone is bitching about gender lock it’s just a video game character and before anyone says “iTs NoT aCcURate” neither is the fact that pirate has a infinite ammo flintlock or the fact that shugokis fat ass has super sprint or shaolins teleport or aras and shinobis attacks that make them disappear for a second and reappear.
The D does not guarantee the W, but there's always a V in Victory.

I get heavy armor is suppose to be heavy armor... but its just so boring when there is no uniqueness to any of it. Would've loved for some genuine unique fashion that makes her standout and scream "female viking heavy"
What do you have in mind?
The armour are copy and paste of the other Viking armour their running out of ideas
Go tell that to the cultures they took the design from
