    Fabulous to hear from the actual actors from the films we all love so much. Highlights are the personal references to our beloved Jeremy! Once again, you two have pulled another rabbit out of the proverbial hat! Well done and thank you....

      Thank you, Cat! We were really delighted to speak to Kiran as, you can probably tell, we were already familiar with his other work. Glad we got to share this one this way. Being able to highlight the big moments of his amazing career.

    What a treasure this man is, so glad he agreed to sit down and have a wonderful conversation with you both. I really hope he takes up your suggestion to write a memoir! Thanks for another well-done addition to the channel, I enjoyed it very much.

    He's such a friendly and likeable person. And he did an enormous amount of performances. He's quite fortunate to be able to still work as a stuntman at this age. I hope he'll be active for many many years.

    It was really a pleasure to hear this guy. I'm glued to the screen listening to him. Unfortunately though, there's only a few interviews of him on CZcams.

      That's why we were so glad to speak to him... and why we widened the scope of our normal podcast to be able to discuss his entire career. It was a great day for us! Glad you enjoyed it.

    Kudos brothers for a wonderful addition to your already very interesting & well-made podcast. I became acquainted with the (Brett) Holmes series around 2002 & it’s been a continual delight to re-watch. Now with this companion piece of superb observations, background information & interviews…well let’s just say it’s a much-needed diversion from pandemics & politics. VERY CLEVER starting when you did. : )

    Once again you’ve exceeded expectations! Your encyclopedic knowledge of film and your devotion to finding every bit of detail and interviewing anyone associated with the series is spectacular and so very much appreciated.

    Thanks for posting this ! Jeremy BRETT is forever Sherlock for me , I was a Basil Rathbone fan I thought he was the best SH until I stumbled upon the Grenada series jeremy is without doubt best SH player! He was taken far to soon wish he lived longer and was able to finish what they had planned .

      Kiran, you have made us all very proud of taking part in so many grand Holywood films and being the smallest stuntman on the industry 👌👍

    Is there a reason to avoid the accepted word Holmesian? "Sherlockian" is clumsy and it's last names which are typically turned into adjectives.
    I mean, when something is in the style of Charles Dickens, it's called Dickensian, not Charlesian.
    Sorry. Once a literature student, always an annoying, super-fussy literature student! 😸

    • @sherlockpodcast
      @sherlockpodcast  Před 2 lety +1

      Good points! But I think the justification may be that "Sherlock" is the more instantly recognizable of the two names. I heard it recently pointed out that referring to Leonardo da Vinci as "Da Vinci" is patently wrong, as it simply refers to his birthplace. While Leonardo isn't that common of a name, it's still more common than Sherlock, but folks still say Da Vinci.

      @@sherlockpodcast Well said. 👏 Sherlockian now - officially - works for me! I mean, there are plenty of people named Holmes - Tom Cruise married one! - but Sherlock is unique.
      As to artists, if I live to be 100, I don't think I'll ever get a straight answer on how to pronounce Vincent van Gogh's last name. I'm terrified of learning I'm not even pronouncing "Vincent" correctly.
      Have a safe and wonderful summer, wherever you are. 🌻🐧🌻
