Also bass recourses shows a weightless worm using a 2/0 round bend worm hook. Use a plumb red finess worm with nightcrawler attractant bu procure or trophy bass. He shows how to rig finess worm to give life like action bass crush it. It works yes at night because the quality water-based attractant it has a gel substance and they use live shad, nightcrawler and creyfish to make trophy bass. Live worms for nightcrawler. This stuff works at night amazing because fish smell it and crush it. Try it. Also this setup you can work all water columns. If fish are finicky it'll sink very slow with nightcrawler by procure you will get bit and catch big smallies or largemouth bass 😊

Some of the cheapest lures in my collection are the Double X Tackle Pot-O-Gold spoons that Sportsman's Warehouse tends to carry. I've also seen them at Wal-Mart, Cabela's, and elsewhere. Even their bigger trolling spoons tend to be under $3, and though their patterns aren't intricate, I've caught a mess of trout on the orange swirl patter, neon yellow swirl, green swirl, and blue swirl. They come in hammered nickel or hammered brass, mostly. And are perfect for doing home-painted lures using nail polish.
My favorite trout lure is a Chinese 1-1/4" crankbait, translucent. Also nails pike, bass, crappie, walleye, sunfish, bluegills and chub. But trout can't resist them. Most colors too. Just rip em.

If you want a little more excitement set your drag a little looser so the bigger ones can actually pull some drag and make some runs! When the drag is tight and they're just thrashing around like that they spit the hook a lot easier, not to mention you wont break off as easy too. They more you can keep em underwater and not thrashing on the surface the more you'll land em.

I really liked the message at the end of this video about not having to spend mega dollars on lures. It reminds me of a similar video I uploaded last year; Episode 20: Yard Sale Baits Only Challenge. I think You americans are the luckiest fishermen ever. You literary have too much fish in every river and lake. You could try fishing even with shit and you will catch fish.
@@bassntroutfishing i know what you say. Back in my country almost all mointain rivers are destroyed by hydropower plants and nobody gives a shit. Worse.. some bastrads use monofilament nets, electricity and poisons. Fortunately nature manages to survive and less often we manage to catch beautiful trout.

It’s not without its downsides, every other year or so, some lakes will get completely drained and kill all the fish, or there’s winter kills.
